The Begonia Belle Arched Card: My New Favorite Way to Say “Sending Hugs” 💙
Hey friends! I am SO excited to share this one with you today. If you’ve been following along for a while, you know I love a good arched card (there’s just something about that shape that makes a project feel instantly fancy), and this one might be my favorite yet. Grab your coffee, settle in, and let’s talk about how this beauty came together!

Meet Begonia Belle, July’s Product of the Month
This card centers around the gorgeous Begonia Belle stamp set, which happens to be our Product of the Month for July! Y’all, this rose is a showstopper. It’s a two-step stamped image, which sounds intimidating if you’re new to card making, but I promise it’s easier than it looks — you’re basically just layering a light stamp behind a darker outline stamp to give it that dimensional, watercolor-y feel.

I paired it with Hydrangea, Golden Glow, and Peaceful Pine ink, and the soft blue-and-gold combo just feels so fresh and springy. Bonus: when you snag the POTM from me this month, you’ll also score a collection of 16+ free tutorials featuring this stamp set, so this arched card is just the beginning of the Begonia Belle fun.

The Shape That Started It All: Everyday Arches Dies
Now let’s talk shape, because that arch is doing some serious heavy lifting here. I used the Everyday Arches Dies to create this fun gate-fold style card, which opens up to reveal a second sentiment inside — perfect for tucking in an extra-special message. Honestly, once you cut your first arched card, it’s hard to go back to a boring rectangle. It’s a small change that instantly makes a handmade card look like it came from a boutique stationery shop, not your craft table (even though we both know it did, and that’s the best part).

Confession: I’m Hot Foil Obsessed
Okay, I have to be honest with you — I am completely, hopelessly addicted to my new Hot Foil System. If you’ve seen me on video lately, you’ve probably heard me gush about it more than once! For this card, I hot foiled the “Sending Hugs” and “Sending Bunches of Love” sentiments in gold using the Sweetly Sentimental Bundle, and I created that shimmery brick-look background with the Echoes of Detail Hot Foil Dies.

There is genuinely nothing like watching plain cardstock turn into gleaming gold foil right before your eyes — it’s basically crafty magic, and I want everyone to experience it at least once. If you want to see exactly how it works, I’ve got more info on the Hot Foil System and a free class you can check out too.

When Would You Send This Card?
Here’s the thing I love most about this design: it’s a total go-to for so many occasions. Sending Hugs works beautifully for a friend going through a hard week, a “thinking of you” moment, or just because. And since it opens to reveal “Sending Bunches of Love,” it’s equally perfect for anniversaries, Mother’s Day, or celebrating someone you adore. Basically, keep a few of these in your card stash, and you’ll always be ready the next time life calls for a little extra love in the mailbox.

Whether you’re a seasoned stamper or someone who just picked up their very first ink pad, I hope this card gave you a little spark of inspiration (and maybe a mild case of foil-envy, like I have). Card making is one of those hobbies that’s equal parts relaxing and ridiculously fun, and I love sharing every step of the process with you.
