CARD: Love You Petal Potpourri

Hip! Hip! Hooray my blog and email are back up and running after a very long and frustrating day. My blog had been hacked and what a mess to try and get it resolved. It's FINALLY fixed and all is well with the universe again. My apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused anyone.
And just to "spread the love" I'm feeling now that we are fixed, here's a little "love you" card from the Petal Potpourri stamp set and Medallion punch bundle. The background paper is the Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration Irresistibly Yours specialty paper, sponge daubered with some Wild Wasabi in the top and bottom corners for this beautiful effect.
The flower is colored with the Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities markers. the "you" is cut from the Hello You thinlits. Designed by Veronica.

This gorgeous stamp set makes anyone feel like an artist in three quick steps. It creates a beautiful flower that looks painted, but it is amazingly easy. The individual stamps have a tab at the top to help you align them, and the tabs are numbered so you will know which part of the flower to stamp first, second, and third. Try playing around using one ink pad with the stamping off technique, or multiple different ink pads to create many different looks. See my video featuring the Lotus Blossom stamp set here.

I got this set free during Sale-a-bration, and it is one of new favs. It is so pretty on everything, and super easy. It's a "3-step" stamp, and in the video below I'll show you how to use it. It's a quick, fun and simple set to use.
The beautiful script "love" comes from the "hello life" stamp set in the Occasions Catalog.

The cool Birthday Bash DSP is from the Occasions catalog actually has gold flecks in it. The cake is colored with the Bermuda Bay Blendabilities. Designed by Angie Silva.

The bow is made from the Natural cotton ribbon. The scallop textured edge is created with the Delicate Designs embossing folder.

Going "outside the box" this stink' cute piggy is cut out from the From The Herd stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. The Valentine dsp is from the Stacked With Love paper stack. And the gray polka dot paper is from the Neutrals DSP collection. The word bubble used is from Just Sayin' Framelits and masked off the sentiment using tape. Using the Stampamajig stamp the "Be Mine" sentiment in Real Red from the stamp set You Plus Me. You can get the You Plus Me stamp set and Stacked with Love DSP as a bundle and save 15%. Designed by Veronica, she used the Word Bubble dies, and the Banner dies. Super fun card.

Another amazing wow card using the Butterflies Framelits coming out in the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. The "So Sweet" words come from the Hello Life stamp set.
The specialty paper used on this card is another "must have", this one from the upcoming 2015 Sale-a-Bration catalog. It's called Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper. It's white 12"X12" paper with a glossy white pattern that is perfect for coloring techniques. Coloring reveals the pattern (also known as "resist").
This background design is Irresistibly Yours DSP, and the different colors can be created by "masking" off each area and sponge daubering over it. The ink colors are: So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Pistachio Pudding, Early Espresso. Designed by Veronica.

From the moment I first saw this Butterflies Thinllits Die in the upcoming Stampin Up Occasions catalog, it was love at first sight. It is on my list of "must haves" from this catalog, along with the Painted Petals stamp set used on this card.
