Today's Christmas card idea is simply and easy and has a fantastic glimmer tag with a clear vintage faceted button on it that is just beautiful. I took a close up of the side view to show you how it was done. It's actually quite simple but soooo pretty! The poinsettia comes from the Joyful Christmas stamp set, and the words come from Christmas Messages. Both stamp sets are in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog. The tag is from the Hearts a Flutter framelits. Card design by Laurie Krauss.
Another great Christmas card featuring products from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog (which is ending January 2, 2014). The stamp set is called O Holy Night, it is layered on the big accent from the Apothecary Accents Framlits. Also uses Smoky Slate textured card stock and Winter Frost Designer Paper.

The Festive Flurry snowflakes look beautiful no matter what you do with them, it's like you can't go wrong! I love that. Here's another great card featuring the bundle in the Holiday Catalog (stamp set and framelits). The "Merry Christmas" is from the Special Season stamp set. Designed by Genevieve Ko.
Having some fun in the Holiday Catalog today, the first in a series featuring the Festive Flurry bundle (stamp set and framelits). This is a cool design, using a larger framelit to cut out the Winter Frost designer paper, showing the Island Indigo card stock beneath it. Then stamping and cutting 2 snowflakes: 1 in baja breeze (larger) and 1 in island indigo (smaller) and layering on top. So cool!
Today's Christmas Star card is a WOW! It's really an eye-catcher using the Merry Little Christmas stamp set for the "Merry", and the Christmas Star single stamp for the star template make it really easy. Simply stamp the Christmas Star on the back of our Silver Foil paper, then cut out and score just like I did in this video for the box.
Would also make great tags for your presents! This card was designed by Winona Semler.

Today's video is a real act of sparkling beauty and WOW, it's amazing! Just in time for Christmas. This is a really cool technique using Stampin Up Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds glitter, created by Deb Valder. You'll be surprised how easy this card is to make, and your friends and family will be wowed by how cool it is! It's even better in person.

The best sale of the year is right around the corner; are you getting excited for Sale-A-Bration? I know I am. This week I was able to play with the new Best of Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. It was fun to see the stamps from years past. from Kasia J. Stampin' Up! Concept Artist
On this card, I used Old Olive and Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Markers to ink up the flowers and the “For you” greeting. (The Little Labels Punch Pack has the perfect punch for the greeting!)
The only stamp I used on my projects that isn’t in the Best of Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set is the Dictionary Background Stamp. I LOVE this stamp so much! The Smoky Slate dictionary page was the perfect backdrop for my flowers. I also used a Stampin’ Spritzer to turn the doily Smoky Slate.
I also made a small “Bliss” tag to add to a gift or a scrapbook page—or I might hang it from a jar on my desk. (I can’t decide!) I love using neutral colors on my projects and giving them a pop of color—as I did with the Calypso Coral. Then I stamped the flower image in Gold Metallic Encore ink to add a bit of shine.

Another great Holiday / Winter card from the Snow day stamp set. Simple and fun. The snowflakes are embossed in silver. The "twist" on this card is the layer under the ribbon, it's corrugated card board. Like from The Starbucks coffee cup wrapper! I love it, "reuse and recycle". the rings were made by using the cap of a Stampin' Write marker and stamping it ink as if it were a stamp. Cool ideas! Created by Alanna Wharf.
Today's super stinkin' cute "Tropical Snowman" card always makes me smile. Perfect for those of you in warm climates this holiday season, and also for the "snowbirds" that leave our cold New England states when the weather turns, to hibernate in sunny Florida for the winter until spring!
This card was created by Debbie Moczek. The snowman *ahem* Snow-WOMAN comes from the Snow Day stamp set in the Holiday catalog. It's a "build your own" snowman set. She made the bikini top out of the hat in the set, how flippin' funny is that?!? The skirt is the XL Oval punch, just cut some slits to make it a "hula skirt", and the "greetings from Florida" was printed from the computer. A very fun card!
My mom and I are heading off to the Stampin Up Home Office in Riverton, Utah this morning. I have been invited to attend a "Million Dollar" Celebration and I'm sooooo flippin' excited!!!I'm also a little nervous. What do you where to such an event? I even get to spend "alone time" with Shelli Gardner, CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin Up!! She called me a couple of weeks ago to ask what we should stamp, OMG!!! Today's projects are a gift set, a box / bag with 3-D star and matching holiday / Christmas card ensemble. In a word....GORGEOUS! not to mention quick and easy, which makes them perfect for holiday gift giving. I'll show you how to make the bag from 1 sheet of card stock, wich a few simple scores (download the inspiration sheet below for measurements). The bow topper on the bag is from the Gift Bow Bigz die for the Big Shot. I apologize in advance for randomly breaking out in "Like a Rhinestone Cowboy", sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing things until I watch the video clips after..OMG hahaha!
