November represents a time of Thanksgiving and appreciation to me. So grateful for all of you, for my family, and friends. After losing a good friend this week, I can't stop hugging my boys and telling them how much I love them. Never miss a chance to show your gratitude.

I have a different kind of a share today. Instead of "crafting inspiration", I'm sharing "personal inspiration" in the form of a friend, mother and angel who's dedicated her life to helping others. And shown me how to live, even when your time is short.
You may remember last week I did the Colon Cancer Walk in support of my friend Debbie Whitmore (click here for story). Debbie has stage 4 metastic colon cancer, she spent last week (and the last of her 'good days') in Disney World on the "trip of a lifetime" with her husband and 4 children. The trip was funded by a "Gofundme" from all of her friends, the Whitmores had never been to Disney and we chipped in to make that dream come true...which it did.
The day before they were scheduled to come home, Debbie was becoming jaundice and was rushed home from Florida. She went directly to Brigham & Women's hospital. Where she learned that her liver was in end stage failure. She went home from the hospital Monday night, to be at peace with her family (and begin hospice). Last night, she left this earth to be with the Lord. It was very quick and an emotional week. God is at work, and he has called an angel to be with him. She leaves behind a family of amazing kids, who will carry on her legacy.
Debbie has been such a huge inspiration to me, and a hero. It's hard to believe these pictures of her and her family were from just last week. I have posted a couple of videos below - Debbie did these interviews for NESN and WEEI a couple of months ago. Her beautiful smile and personality shine through every word and I hope she can inspire you too.

CARD: Thinking of You for all of the Cancer Warriors out there

Today's card, designed by Veronica, goes out to all of you Cancer Warriors, survivors and those who were taken in the battle. You are heroes.
Tomorrow I will be participating in the 2014 Boston Get Your Rear In Gear 5K Run/Walk, an event to benefit the Colon Cancer Coalition. On behalf of my friend Debbie Rech-Whitmore, who is cancer warrior and inspiration. I want to carry the torch for her when she can't be there.
A very brief background for Debbie: In Nov 2011, Debbie was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. Her prognosis was not very good. But Debbie is a fighter and has surpassed all expectations that the doctors had given her. However, in September 2014, her body is just not able to continue to fight off the cancer, which has spread to many places including her spine and hip, causing excruciating pain and more recently to her cerebellum, which affects her balance. Debbie is our Wonder Woman! But she Is also a realist. She has set up the appointment for the "bridge to hospice".
I am going to shamelessly ask all of my friends to donate any amount you can in an effort to help with prevention, early detection and treatment for this disease. Cancer has affected so many in our lives. it's time we made BIG strides in the area. A donation in any amount helps: ($5, $10, $20) - click on the button that says "Support Tami" (it's in green on the right of the page) I do have a set amount but my hope is that I can blow it out of the water with all your support. Check out my video to learn how to make the easiest "paneled door" you'll ever build lol! Of course this one is made of paper, and it's perfect for hanging this beautiful paper wreath.
I'll also show you a quick and easy way to determine the "sex" of this stamp set (shhhhh it's a boy) and how to line it up so it stamps perfectly every time. Thanks to Veronica for another amazing design.

Got germs? Know someone who does? Super-hero Santa to the rescue. It's a bird, it's a plane...it's Santa-tizer! Wipe out germs with this super stinkin' cute Santa Hand Sanitizer. So fun for Christmas projects and gifts. Quick, easy and cheap to make. These hand santa-izers *ahem* I mean Sanitizers came 3 for a buck at the dollar store. The video below shows they are so quick and easy to make, you'll want to make dozens for teacher gifts, stocking stuffers, and more. The perfect little "pick me up" for the "germophobe" on your holiday gift giving list.
My friend Linda Bauwin made these for a craft fair, and gave me one so I could make a video for you guys. Isn't she the sweetest?

PROJECT: Awesome Halloween Frame-able Sampler

Today's share is a real Halloween WOW! This is called a Sampler, it's a 12" x 12" frameable page, the squares are each 2" x 2" and super fun. I was lucky enough to be sitting next to my friends LeeAnn Greff and Susie Wood at Founders circle last month when they were in a creating frenzy and this was one of their projects. My favorite square is the bottom left Candy Corn created with the Petite Pennants Builder punch.

Thank you ALL who supported our 5th Annual “Stamp Out Breast Cancer” event this past Saturday. Whether you attended, or simply made a donation, you made a difference. 2014 was a record setting year for our Team.
Not only did we meet our goal of $3000, we blew it SKY HIGH- together we raised over $5300 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer!! WAHOOO!!! {insert applause here}. We are so excited, we had a most awesome day of stamping, fun, friends and PRIZES!!! OMG!! The raffles were amazing. I already can’t wait for next year!

The dryer sheet technique is on of the coolest and easiest WOW techniques I've ever done. It's sparkly, beautiful, and stands out in a crowd. the dryer sheet gives it a unique texture too. In this video, I'll also show you how to get dimension from a single stamp by "triple" stamping.
This makes a great choice for a Christmas, or Holiday card, because it's quick and easy to make. Perfect for large lists. You can even make it a photo card, by attaching a photo to the inside.
