This is a gorgeous sympathy card featuring roses from the Picture Perfect stamp set, I especially love the colors of the flowers. They really "pop". I'm trying something new, this is my first ever Periscope "Swipe and Share" Giveaway. I kind of made this up, so we'll see how it goes. So far it's been super fun and exciting! I've been learning how to use the new Periscope Live Video app on my iPhone.
It's been a lot of fun being able to share a few minutes of my day with you live and be able to interact. Plus, it's live so you never know what's going to happen. For example, while I was broadcasting this giveaway video, my UPS man showed up with packages and jumped right in on the fun! It was hilarious, see the replay video.

Today's video tutorial is how to create this stunning Stained Glass Easter Rose technique. This super cool technique is easier than it appears. Check out the video where I'll show you "how to" make this card. And I'll ask the question, can you cut better than a Kindergartner? This technique was inspired by Dena Rekow.
The card also uses an assortment of pretty spring colors and the Stampin Up Suite Saying stamp set from the sentiment, along with the gorgeous Rose Garden thinlits die from the Occasions Catalog.

This You Send Me Soaring card is a great masculine birthday / thank you card idea. The plane is from the Sale-a-bration stamp set called the Sky is The Limit. The tag is created with the Ornate Tag Topper punch, and the background is from the Going Places paper stack.
This is an alternate card idea featuring the beautiful patterned papers from the December Paper Pumpkin calendar kit. It's such a gorgeous kit, I love the colors. This adorable "You're so Sweet" card is packed full of fun! From the brand new Honeycomb Embellishments, to the Shine on specialty paper background. I just love it! The words and ice cream cone images from the the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration Honeycomb Happiness stamp set. The ice cream cone images are stamped in the same color as the card stock (crumb cake, blushing bride and mint macaron), then cut out. The pop up honeycomb embellishments (from the Occasions catalog) are layered on top. So yummy you just want to eat it.
