If you’ve been following along on the blog, you know I am obsessed with my Triple Z Fold Card series — and this one might just be my favorite yet!
The Stampin’ Up! Cute as a Bug Suite is giving me all the cozy, whimsical, “let’s have a picnic under a mushroom” vibe. The sweet little bugs from the Sweet Bugs Bundle are so charming they practically crawl right off the card. 🍄
From the teeny ladybug epoxy embellishments to the hand-cut butterfly fluttering on top, every detail is adorable. And that center focal point — two little bugs sharing a moment at a mushroom table with the sentiment “Spread Joy” — I mean, come on. It’s absolutely “un-bee-lievable!” 🐝
The Triple Z Fold: Way Easier Than It Looks! ✂️
I know what you might be thinking — that fold looks complicated! But I promise, it is surprisingly easy once you see it in action.
The Triple Z Fold creates that cool staggered, three-dimensional look — almost like the letter Z repeated three times. The arms extend in alternating directions, creating gorgeous open “windows” between the layers.
Dressed up with the Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper — dreamy red gingham on the front and soft mossy foliage on the inner layers — it looks like a piece of display-worthy art. And the best part? It folds down flat so it’s easy to mail! 💌

For the decorative focal point, the picnic bugs are die-cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies, layered onto a punched circle, and finished with mushrooms in Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze. The “Spread Joy” sentiment is heat embossed in white for a beautiful raised finish. ✨
