Lovely Blossoms Triple Z Fold Card Tutorial
A Stunning Interactive Fun Fold with Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives
If you love interactive cards that make people say “WOW!” when they open them, you are going to adore this Triple Z Fold Card. This design is part of my Triple Z Fold Series, and I had so much fun creating it with the Stampin’ Up! Currently Loving Scrapbooking Kit paired with the gorgeous Lovely Blossoms Suite Collection.
One of my favorite things to do as a paper crafter is repurpose scrapbooking kits into handmade cards. The die cuts, designer paper, and embellishments make it incredibly easy to create professional-looking projects without starting from scratch.
In fact, the floral elements and sentiments on this card come straight from the Currently Loving kit, but you can easily recreate the look with the Lovely Arrangements Bundle and Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper if you prefer stamping your own images.
Why I Love This Color Combination
Let’s talk about these colors for a minute. The soft blue Cloud Cover paired with the deep richness of Secret Sea creates such an elegant, calming palette. According to the supply list on page 3 of my tutorial, this card features Cloud Cover cardstock along with coordinating Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper—and the result is simply beautiful.
Even better? This color combo works wonderfully for masculine cards, which I know can sometimes feel challenging to design. However, thanks to the floral elements and balanced layout, this card is also perfect for:
- Birthday cards
- Anniversary cards
- Wedding or engagement cards
- Sympathy or thinking of you
- Mother’s Day
- Thank you cards
- Just because
In other words, it’s versatile enough to keep in your card stash for just about anything!
The Triple Z Fold WOW Factor
Now let’s talk about the star of the show—the Triple Z Fold card base. This interactive fold features layered “arms” that zig-zag across the card, creating dimension and movement.
