Virtual Card Retreat Box, and it’s one of those cards that looks impressive while still being very doable—even for newer card makers.

What makes this card extra special is how it opens and flips in a surprising way, revealing both the inside and outside panels at the same time. As a result, you get more “design real estate” without adding bulk, which is perfect for showcasing beautiful stamped images, patterned paper, and layered sentiments. It’s interactive, fun to open, and always gets an “oh wow!” reaction.

For this design, I used the exclusive retreat stamp set for both the words and the floral images. The flowers and leaves were stamped directly onto pre-cut die pieces from the kit, which saves time and ensures everything coordinates effortlessly. Then comes my favorite part—coloring! I used Stampin’ Blends Markers to bring the flowers to life, giving them soft shading and vibrant dimension that really makes them pop off the card.

The color palette is calm, fresh, and versatile, thanks to the two-tone Old Olive cardstock, coordinating designer paper, and subtle embellishments included in the retreat box. Because everything was designed to work together, you can confidently mix and match pieces without worrying about clashing colors or patterns—something beginners especially appreciate.
