On the Ocean [Theater Card Series #7]

ON THE OCEAN CARD

Welcome to the latest installment of my Theater Card Series! This time, I'm featuring a nautical-themed card that is perfect for anyone who loves the ocean. Created with the Stampin' Up! On the Ocean Bundle. This card features a ship that pops up inside when you open the curtains, and I've used designer series paper from the Enjoy the Journey collection to create the waves and cloudy sky.

Card #7 in my Theater card series, see a sneak peek at tomorrow's tutorial below.

Have you tried these designs? I love to see your creations! Be sure to share them on #shareyourcrafts post every Saturday on my Facebook Page.

I used the Stampin’ Up Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper for the sea and clouds patterns. The wave edge lit die in the On the Ocean die set creates the waves and the ship. I layered them on the front and background.

When the curtains are closed you see the cloud pattern on the paper.

Here’s a view of the card panels separated with the frame panel removed. I love this ship built from the dies. I think it also makes a great pirate ship too.

I used a Window Sheet behind the ship to attach the mast die cuts. It’s almost invisible once the card is assembled.

Visit my blog here tomorrow for instructions on how to make this coordinating pop and twist interactive fun fold card.
