CARD

For today’s how-to video, I’m sharing this elegant piano card. It is surprisingly easy to create, and super cool for the music lover in your life. I used the Stampin Up Feather Together stamp set for the Happy Birthday greeting. But you can switch this card up for many occasions, New Years Eve parties, Wedding, and more.

This card was inspired by a card on saw on pinterest from Karen Howell.

RIBBONS

On my original (shown in the video), I used the Cherry Cobbler from this duet pack in the Holiday Catalog. Then I altered it with the Real Red satin ribbon. Which do you like better?

NOTE: Apparently I got carried away while making this video, and wasn’t paying attention to the black key placement on the card with the Real Red ribbon. They should be grouped in 3’s and 2’s (not 4). The placement is correct on the original card with the Cherry Cobbler ribbon.

Comments

  1. I LOVE THIS CARD!!!! I’m a piano teacher so it is perfect!

  2. (Wasn’t going to say anything, but the piano teacher in me has to….) The black keys in the PDF are not grouped correctly. 🙁

    • I’m sorry, I got carried away on the video and totally put them in the wrong place lol. I researched it and everything. My original is correct, but the card with the red ribbon that I made on the video is off. I’ll make a note so anyone copying it can put them down in the right place.

    Hi Tami,

This card is perfect for the members of my younger sister’s family, both her kids play instruments, and I was trying to figure out a card for my niece, and this is great.

    Thanks

    Omg, it’s beautiful!

  5. TamI, your piano card is so beautiful. I plan to CASE it for our minister of music. I know he will just love it. I will view the correct placement of the keys, I haven’t a clue ?

  6. Melanie Morris says

LOVE this! I have several people I need to make this for!
BTW – you can cut the middle out of the gold so you aren’t wasting it behind a card front…no one will see the holes in the back!

Love this card. I couldn’t find a measurement for the black piece that is embossed with the greeting. Thanks for your help!
