In Bloom Bundle – Card Tutorial

“You mean so much to me” card from the Stampin’ Up In Bloom Bundle. The diagonal cut on the front is an easy way to add interest and layering to the card design. You can create your own designer paper by layering the flowers in bright colors. I have full, easy to follow instructions below.

  • Bermuda Bay Card Base – 11″ x 4-1/4″ scored in half
  • Basic White Cardstock – 5 1/2” x 4-1/4”
  • Basic White (Inside) – 5″ x 3-3/4″
  • Bermuda Bay Carstock – 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Scraps: Basic White, Old Olive, Calypso Coral and Mango Melody

  • Stamp the words in Old Olive ink on Basic White scrap
  • Randomly stamp the flower and leaf images around the background of the Basic White Panel. Layer smaller flowers on a larger flower using the same color ink by stamping off once for a lighter shade on the larger image
  • Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine die cut:
    • Calypso Coral: 2 larger and 2 smaller flowers
    • Mango Melody: 2 sets of the dies that have 4 leaves (these will layer on top of each other) & 2 circle centers
    • Old Olive: 2 larger leaves, 4 smaller leaves and the bow tie image
    • Bermuda Bay: Approx 6 or 7 of the smaller flowers and circle dies
    • The stamped words with the label die
  • Using the Paper Trimmer, cut the Bermuda Bay panel on the diagonal about an 1″ up for either end
  • Assemble the flowers and leaves together with Glue Dots
  • Attach the white floral stamped background panel to the card base using Seal Adhesive
  • Attach the diagonal cut Bermuda Bay panels with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Attach the label and bow tie die to the card with Seal Adhesive
  • Attach the Bermuda Bay smaller flowers with Glue Dots
  • Attach the remaining flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Attach embellishments
