On today’s live online class we’ll be doing the Emboss Resist Technique to create this gorgeous fall card. I had a blast playing with the beautiful Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin kit. The treat boxes and note cards that the kit originally made were just gorgeous. Every month I like to show you an alternate project for “outside the box” Paper Pumpkin fun. STAMPIN UP ALTERNATE PROJECTS

Here’s a few more fun projects from Stampin Up:

Directions: Adhere a piece of paper from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack to a Whisper White note card, stamp a maple leaf on Crumb Cake cardstock using Chocolate Chip ink, fussy cut, and adhere to the card front. Finish up by embellishing with baker’s twine, stamped Emerald Envy leaves, and a cute banner. That’s pretty much perfection right there.

Of course, the rustic autumn leaf garland is equally easy to make and will bring the warmth of fall into your home in just a matter of minutes. Stamp a few maple leaves, clip the leaves, greenery, and tags to baker’s twine, and you’re done! Instant fall glory. Keep it for yourself to use year after year—or give it away as a gift.

Our alternate package would be perfect for gifting any time of year. Use it for a bridal shower, birthday, Mother’s Day, any day. (You really don’t need a special occasion to give someone a treat enclosed in this sweet packaging. Or give it away as a merry unbirthday gift to someone special!) Just cut flowers from the watercolor leaves, stamp a few tiny flowers to peek out from beneath, add some die-cut greenery and a tag, and wrap with baker’s twine.
