CARD
I “cased” (copied) this card idea from the Stampin Up demo magazine for this blog post. I made it my own by changing the colors and stamp sets (supplies below). The Color Me Irresistible paper was on special this week, so I’ve been having some fun playing with it. This is an “Ombre Resist” technique. Instead of just photographing the card after I made it, I Periscoped a live broadcast while I was making it. It was like stamping with friends.

- Base: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ folded in half
- Color Me Irresistible paper: 2″ x 3-3/4″

CELEBRATING $1.4MIL
Yesterday I received some “happy mail”! Not only did my Stampin Success magazine just arrive, but I also received a letter from Stampin Up and a pin to celebrating $1,400,000 in career sales! Whew, that’s a LOT of stamps and a very exciting time. I’m so honored!!
The wording on the letter made me smile, it says I’ve “joined an elite group of demonstrators“. So far there has only been one other demo to reach this milestone in the history of the company, Mary Polcin. Soon we’ll be a “group“, but right now we’re just a “duo” lol.

Never around for Live Periscope though. Are there certain days or times that you do this? Been on live once at the beginning of this adventure of yours.
Thanks! For Periscope, I have 2 regular times I do live scopes: Tuesday morning for the Tuesday Stampin Scoop & Friday afternoon I make my blog project for the next day live. Other than that, often it’s when something exciting happens. Like my blue box paper pumpkin arrives on the door step. Today I’ll be drawing a winner for the periscope contest and announcing a new winner.
