Fun with Fun Flowers – Part 2

fun-flowers-part-2bHere are a few more samples using the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die (121812) for the Big Shot Die Cut Machine from a recent Stampin' Up event I attended. The Fun Flowers die is from the 2011 Occasions mini catalog which ends April 30. Also ending April 30 is this gorgeous designer paper called Paisley Prints (122367) & stamp set called Four Frames, both are part of the Spring is Blossoming special this month.

Fun with Fun Flowers – Part 1

fun-flowers-megThis is the last week to purchase items from Stampin' Up!'s 2011 Occasions mini catalog, I'm sad it has to end. There are so many incredible products and stamps in there. One of the must popular items in this mini catalog has been the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die (121812) for the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. This gorgeous card was created by my friend Meg Loven. She used also used the Petal Cone die (121810) for the heart shape, Vintage Wallpaper impressions folder (120175) to texture the flowers and some ot he Melon Mambo Pom Pom trim (123322) also from the Occasions mini catalog. Stay tuned tomorrow for Part II of my Fun Flowers ideas.

Lattice Cross Cards

lattice-cross1 Here are a couple more really fabulous cards from a recent demo event I attended. The crosses on these cards were made with the Lattice Die (115958) for the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. Perfect for Easter, or any Christian holiday/event, the cross makes a beautiful focal point. My apologies for them being a little fuzzy, these were display card and I only had my phone camera at the time.

Petal Cone Die – Easter Carrot Fun

petal-cone-die-easter-stampin-up1 Recently I was at a demo event in Illinois and the gals there had made some super cute Easter ideas (and more) using the Petal Cone die (121810) for the big shot. I especially fell in love with the carrot with the scallop oval punched out and the candy inside! So creative! The photo below shows another "petal cone" carrot idea, and next to it (simply changing some colors) they made an ice cream cone and slid a lolli pop inside! Waaaay Cute!!!

Carrot Egg Candy Treats for Easter

scallopcircle-carrot-stampin-upHow stinkin' cute are these simple Easter / Spring treats? They are little chocolate eggs wrapped in the large Scallop Circle Punch (118874). Pumpkin Pie card stock, and the Square Lattice Impressions folder (119976) and the Big Shot give you the texture. A little green scrap for the carrot top, sooooo cute! I was recently at a demo gathering and one of the gals had these cuties displayed in this basket.

Easter Carrot from the Petal Cone Die

easter-blossoms-carrot-stampin-up1 This is such a stinkin' cute Easter treat / gift idea! My friend Donna Griffith gave this to me, she works for Stampin' Up! and had demonstrated this super cutey at one of our recent regional events. Donna created this with the brand new Petal Cone die (121810) for the Big Shot. The stamp set is the Easter Blossoms Stamp set (121905 Wood, 122057 Clear Mount) from the Occasions mini catalog (which is only available until April 30, hurry). Simply insert candy, gift card, or whatever for the perfect Easter treat.

VIDEO: Easter Bunny and Chick boxes

bunny-and-chickie-boxAre you ready for super stinkin' cuteness?! I've had so many people ask for these, that I'm reposting this from last Easter. The Bunny and Chickie boxes are made from the Big Shot Top Note die and Fancy Favor Box Die. You could also use these cuties on a card, over a goody bag, as a tag, place setting or just about anything! So versitile, and great for spring, beyond Easter. The bunny box was inspired by my friend BJ Peters.

My Digital Studio T-Shirts & New Downloads

mds-t-shirts6Is there anything My Digital Studio software can't do? Recently I traveled to Illinois with my friends Christy Harsch (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and BJ Peters (Minnesota) to visit Meg Loven. Christy was on fire with the coolest ideas, along with the beautiful Bonnet Box (click for video) she also showed us how to make t-shirts using My Digital Studio software and t-shirt transfers. It was amazingly EASY, and using this combo you can put anything on a t-shirt! WOW!

Love Birds Simply Scrappin Kit is so much more

love-birdsStampin' Up! offers the coolest kits, they are called Simply Scrappin' kits. While they were originally created with scrapbooking in mind (and they are fabulous for it), they also make great "anything" craft kits. Quick and foolproof. So easy to turn these kits into cards, embellishments and so much more. Each set includes paper and self adhesve die cuts. The images are all exclusive Stampin' Up! designs that coordinate with our stamps sets. they are color coordinated with designer paper. Here are some awesome samples using the Love Birds Simply Scrappin' kit (118707). I love this kit, so pretty. These samples are from the Spring into Stamping event I recently attended in IL. You can find more photos from this event on my Facebook page>.

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Beautiful Bonnet Favor Boxes

hat-box-brad3Ever wonder what to do with all of your left over SU brad and button plastic containers? One person's trash (recycling) is another's treasure. One more way to go "green" and use it all with today's video tutorial making these cool hat containers. Created by my friend Christy Harsh, these hat shaped favor boxes are made with empty SU plastic containers OR we also sell empty containers, called Stampin' Store containers (103649). Perfect for Easter treats, Bridal Shower Favors (click here for more wedding ideas w/ my Cyber Wedding Expo), or just jazz up your embellishments. Fill an empty container with chocolate candy, or other treats and treasures.

Banner Favor Jars

banner-jar2 Hip Hip Hooray for this super cool party favor idea my friend Meg Loven made for me! I love it! I recently visited Meg, and she made these super cute favor jars as a "pillow gift" and OMG! such a stinkin' cute idea! Meg used the Sizzix Big Shot Die Cut Machine (113439) and the Stampin' Up! Pennant Bigz XL die (113483). The "T" (for Tami) was from the Serif Essentials Alphabet dies (113464). Brights Designer Buttons (119747) & Old Olive Striped Ribbon (115618). She used Sunny Garden Designer Paper (119831) and here's the best part, she cut the pennant shapes and layered them on a dowel. Then used the left over scraps for the jar confetti! Genius! No waste.

Ribbon of Hope

ribbon-of-hope So many of our lives have been touched by cancer. Stampin' Up's Ribbon of Hope Stamp (115552) is a single stamp, that represents the hope ribbon. Today's card shows it in pink, for Breast Cancer. Layered on top of the Elizabeth Stamp (117120) it is beautiful, elegant and perfect to let a loved one know you are thinking of them. The background is textured with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder (120175) and the edges are sponged with Early Espresso ink.

Partial Impressions Emboss – Double Emboss

partial-impress-double-impressionThis is the last in the series of partial impressions emboss techniques (I know I'm sad too, but I have so many other cool techniques to show you I have to switch sometime hehehe). This super cool technique combines the partial impression of the Vintage Wallpaper folder (120175) with the Square Lattice folder (119976) for double your pleasure, double mint coolness!

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Presto Patterns WOW

2011-03-presto-patterns-tami-whiteI posted a similar card on my blog last month, it was a swap from an event I'd attended. I received so much feedback and interest from you gals, that I create this video tutorial. The flower was created with the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die (121812) and the Little Leaves Sizzlit Die (114511). First Edition Specialty Designer Paper (121878) in the flower, and Beautiful Wings Embosslit die (118138) for the butterfly.

Partial Impressions Emboss – Vellum

partial-impress-flowersContinuing on with my series on partial impressions embossing, today's gorgeous card sample shows this technique on Stampin' Up! Vellum Card Stock(101856). I love working with vellum, and when you run it through the Big Shot impressions folder, the embossed design is "frosted" and super cool. I layered the embossed vellum over very vanilla card stock, using a sahara sand card base. The flowers on this card were created using two punches: Blossom Petals (121808) & 2 step Bird Punches (117191). The flower itself is 2 of the same blossom Petals (larger petal) I cut the top off one and sponged the edges. Frayed Daffodil Delight grosgrain ribbon (120928) in between. Greeting is Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370) in the Word Window Punch (119857), this card be used for any occasion simply by changing the words.

Partial Impressions Emboss – Wedding Invitations

partial-impress-wedding1Wedding invitation samples are popular requests in the spring. Many brides-to-be love handmade invitations and favors for their big day, it really adds the personal touch to this special event. I have many samples on the blog (see link below), today's card samples are 2 different versions of the same wedding invitation using the Partial Impressions folder emboss technique. The top invitation has a center fold opening, and a coordinating "belly band". Colors are Early Espresso and Blushing Bride. The inside uses the partial emboss on the right side. The outside folds were embossed as well. The invitation below is a "postcard" style. Both were printed on 8 1/2" x 11 card stock to fit 4 on a sheet (size can be adjusted to suit your style), then embossed (see video link below).

Partial Impressions Emboss – Wood Cut

partial-impress-wood-cutDid you know you can use the Big Shot to cut and emboss our Stampin' Up! Wood Sheet texture cuts (116309)? I used the partial emboss technique on this card, and it looks like the design was carved into the wood! Is is super cool. Other SU embellishments on this card are the Pearl Jewels (119247), Vanilla Rosettes (118774) from the Occasions mini catalog, and Pear Pizzazz stitched-poly ribbon (119265).

Partial Impressions Emboss Technique – Part 2

partial-impress-keyHere is another sample using the Partial Impressions Folder emboss technique I shared at the Hartford Regional last week. I impressed the basic black card stock, then sponged whisper white craft ink lightly over the embossed area to make it "pop"! It's layered on iveroy naturals cards stock. Over Stampin' Up! products I used were: Trinket Keys (121892), You're a Gem Stamp Set (122268 wood, 122270 clear mount), Black Striped grosgrain ribbon (115615), Brushed Silver Card Stock (100712).

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Partial Impressions Folders

punch-bunch2This past week I presented the Partial Impressions Folder Embossing technique at Stampin' Up!'s Regional event in Hartford, CT. I originally shared this cool technique with my Stamp Club members, they voted it up for my "Wow" presentation choice to demo for the event. Partial impressions folder embossing technique is a new twist on the shape/frame impressions folder designs we did last year (see below for links to these techniques). Stay tuned to my blog this week for more projects using this cool technique.

Blossom Petal Punch & Punch Bunch WOW

punch-bunch1I am in love with this card, created by my friend Cindy Peterson. Cindy used the Punch Bunch - Sale a Bration stamp set (earn this free thru March 31), along with Love Letter designer series paper (117162), the Blossoms Petals Punch (121808), various SU circle punches and Black Striped Ribbon (115615).

Hartford, CT Regional Event

p3185657This past weekend Stampin' Up was in Hartford, CT doing a Regional event for demonstrators and guests. I presented a "workshop wow" technique called "Partial Impression folder embossing", it was a lot of fun. I promise to share a video and my samples here soon. This first picture is of my group that attended the Friday event. We had such a blast.

Elegant Soiree samples

p3035545Here are a couple of cards showing one of my favorite designer papers: Elegant Soiree (117163). The first card also uses the Fun Flowers die (121812) for the Big Shot and Elegant Lines impressions folder (119277). The next card uses the new Framed Tulips Impressions folder (121809) from the Occasions mini catalog.
