Save the girls! October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Our 6th Annual "Stamp Out Breast Cancer" fundraiser event is approaching quickly. I had some fun making this "Booby Box of Hope" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. This is a fun gift box, you can fill it with a gift, or candy treats. I'm going to show you how to make this "Ribbon of Hope" pink ribbon, from a white ribbon. Great trick when you need ribbon in a color you don't have.

Here's another fantastic card that is a great design for large Christmas / holiday card lists. The trees are strikingly bold, simply by stamping them in Staz On black ink on the Stampin Up Up Silver Foil card stock. The trees are from the Wonderland stamp set, and the textured background is the new Softly Falling impressions folder.

You'll be able to create this gorgeous Christmas card featuring the Stampin Up Delicate Ornaments, Sleigh Ride and Christmas Greetings dies (all available in my online store). Card inspiration by Jan Brown.
On this video, I'll share a couple of tips, like how to prime new thinlits dies and how to keep edgelits in place if they "wiggle".
NOTE: I used Snail adhesive in the video, but I think the Stampin Up Fine Tip Glue is a better choice on the glimmer paper so I've switched to that for the product list below.

Create this super fun window card with today's youtube video.The stamp set All Scenes from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog, framelits are the Hearth and Home, and the "wall" was created with the Brick Wall impressions folder. Creates a fun fall scene peaking through the window.
I filmed this a couple of weeks ago for my stamp club, and we were having a heat wave. I am holding onto summer this year more than ever, and watching the video today was cracking me up because you can hear the kid's swimming next door in the video, and today it's pouring cats and dogs out lol.

I might have had too much fun at the Stampin Up Founders Circle event this past week in St. George, UT. Somehow, lost my voice. It could be that I lost my voice from the laughter and good times with friends. You know when you laugh you hard you snort? Well that happened, over and over until we cried. Be prepared for this when you watch this video. Friday we went to the Stampin Up mfg plant in Kenab, UT .
This is my tenth year earning this event. The "theme" of this year's event was called "The Last Splash" because it is the last year Stampin Up is holding this event. They are updating their events, and this is one they will no longer be having. Each year, we each chose how we'd like to spend our time. Some go to relax, this year I decided to make it an adventure. Beginning with flying into Las Vegas a day early, with my friend Phyllis Shepard.
It could be that I lost my voice here in the beginning on the "high Roller" ferris wheel, or jumping off a 810' building....hmmmmm....or it could be I lost it on the zip line or ATV tour.
Coming up in this video is some exciting highlights of the trip, the mfg plant visit, our 110 person card swap and close ups of some of these amazing cards. Be prepared for a good laugh, and a little excitement....
