Stampin’ Scoop Video — Inspiration + Big Announcements
Linda and I are sharing all the fun and exciting updates in our latest Stampin’ Scoop Video, which is linked right here on this post.
In the video we’ll be:
- Showing all of the retiring In Colors up close
- Sharing project inspiration using each shade
- Talking about what’s changing and what’s coming next
It’s packed with ideas and important news you won’t want to miss!
Retiring Soon! 2024–2026 Stampin’ Up! In Colors — While Supplies Last
One of my favorite (and bittersweet!) times in the Stampin’ Up! world is when we say goodbye to a set of In Colors. It always brings excitement for what’s coming next — but also that little feeling of “oh no… I loved those!”
The 2024–2026 Outgoing In Colors will officially be retiring in April 2026, and they are available only while supplies last:
Peach Pie • Petunia Pop • Pretty in Pink • Shy Shamrock • Summer Splash
These colors have been such a joy to craft with over the past two years — from handmade cards to scrapbooking layouts and interactive fun fold projects. If any of these are favorites in your craft room, now is the time to stock up before they begin selling out.
And with upcoming price increases on the horizon, grabbing your cardstock, ink pads, refills, and coordinating accessories now is truly the smartest move.

What Are Stampin’ Up! In Colors?
If you’re newer to Stampin’ Up!, here’s a quick overview.
In Colors are a special collection of five trendy, on-point colors that rotate every two years. They’re designed to keep projects fresh and current while coordinating beautifully with Stampin’ Up!’s core color families.
Once an In Color set retires, those shades do not return — which is why they often sell out quickly as retirement approaches.
That’s also why I always recommend stocking up on:
- Cardstock
- Ink pads & ink refills
- Coordinating ribbons, papers, and embellishments
When they’re gone, they’re gone!
Color Collection Update
I also wanted to share an important update for your color planning:
There will not be a Core Color Refresh this year — however, there will be one coming next year.
So your current core colors are staying put for now, but exciting updates are ahead!

UPDATED: See the new Ink Pads and New In Colors!
We now have permission to share this video of the new ink pads and new In Colors!!

Big News — New Ink Pad Design Coming!
Stampin’ Up! is introducing a brand new ink pad design, and I’m so excited about this change!
The new In Colors arriving in May 2026 will be the first to feature:
- Felt ink pads
- Magnetic closure
- Stackable case design
- Cleaner, easier storage
- Yes, these will still fit in current storage according to our info
The full rollout of the new ink pads will continue into 2027, but the new In Colors will get them first!
So yes — some very exciting product changes are on the way!

Even Bigger News — A Simpler Catalog Experience
Starting in May 2026, Stampin’ Up! is completely refreshing how catalogs work.
Instead of one large annual catalog, we’ll now have three hybrid catalogs each year, combining the best of both a mini catalog and an annual catalog into one easy-to-shop experience.
New Catalog Cycles:
January – April
May – August
September – December
Each catalog will include:
-
Brand new products
-
Customer-favorite staples
-
Shopping by product category (yes — it’s back!)
This is going to make finding what you need faster and easier than ever.
I will have more info on the May catalog next month. You can learn more about how to get free catalogs from me here.

Thank you for keeping us updated with what Stampin’ Up is coming out with this year! It all sounds exciting except for the part about the new ink pads not exactly fitting in our current stamp case storages – not too happy about that. Thank you for sharing!
Jo Ann from what we were told the DO fit in the storage.

so many changes. exciting
I love that you explain in layman’s terms the new changes. When I read notices from Stampin Up sometimes I am confused. You make it all SO clear!
Love Pretty in Pink; will miss that one!
Thank you all the information.
Thx for the Update! As I still use my Felt pads from 2008-2010, glad to see they are returning to felt pads as the foam pads dont hold up. Yes, Stampin Up had Felt pads in 2010: “In 2010, Stampin’ Up! primarily carried Classic Stampin’ Pads (dye-based), which featured a felt pad surface. This was a transition year for the company, which announced a major “Color Renovation” in April 2010 to revamp their color families (introducing Brights, Subtles, Regals, and Neutrals). “
Are the new stamp pads the same size?
Love petunia pop.
Thank you for this information session. Loved to hear the catalog is going back to the former away. I agree Pretty in Pink is a favorite.
