Turtley Adorable Handmade Cards with the New Stampin’ Up! Suite
Shell yeah! I’ve got two “turtley” awesome cards to share with you today using the brand new Turtley Cute Suite from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. These sweet little turtles totally stole my heart—and I have a feeling they’re going to steal yours too.

Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned paper crafter, these card ideas are easy to follow, full of charm, and sure to bring smiles. Plus, you’ll get a sneak peek at some must-have products coming soon to the Stampin’ Up! collection!

Shell-ebrate the Techniques
One thing I love about these cards is how they use the Turtle-y Cute Designer Series Paper in creative ways. Both designs share techniques that are perfect for adding personality and storytelling to your handmade cards.

Shell-Inspired Triple Time Card
For the first card, I wanted to create the feel of a real turtle shell. I used the Triple Time Technique with a shell-patterned paper and added layers using the Meant to Bee Dies—those hexagons are just perfect for this idea! To really make it pop, I used Black Dimensionals for added depth. It’s simple to create, but the effect is turtle-ly eye-catching.

Turtle Picnic Birthday Card
This second card tells a fun little story using elements straight from the Turtle-y Cute Designer Series Paper. Some of the designs are just begging to be cut apart and layered into scenes—like a picnic with turtles, balloons, and ice cream! (Yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds.) One of my favorite features is a coordinating die that actually cuts a turtle’s arm to hold accessories like a cone or a flower. How shell-ightful is that?

How to Make These Cards
I’ve put together a detailed step-by-step PDF tutorial along with a complete supply list to make crafting these cards super easy. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned paper crafter, you’ll love how simple it is to recreate this design!
Triple Time Technique
I used the Triple Technique for the shell card. If you aren’t familiar with this technique, here’s a video from a previous class.
