Stunning Fun Fold Card Tutorials to WOW Your Loved Ones
If you love making cards that have that extra wow factor, you’re going to adore today’s fun fold card tutorial! I’ve created two breathtaking card designs featuring the brand-new Stampin’ Up! Lovely Gardens Suite. These designs showcase intricate folds, layering techniques, and beautiful floral elements that will leave your recipients in awe.
About These Fun Fold Cards
For this tutorial, I used the Thankful Garden Bundle—a must-have set that includes stamps, coordinating dies, and stunning stencil masks. I also incorporated sentiments from the It’s Okay stamp set, because let’s be honest, we all need that little reminder to Inhale. Exhale. every now and then.
Each card in this set highlights a unique fold and technique, making them not only beautiful but also exciting to create!
Card 1: Circle Wreath Fun Fold
This first card features a Circle Wreath Fun Fold, where I used circle dies to create a layered effect. To add even more dimension and texture, I ran the background through the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder—a perfect way to give your design that extra elegance.
Card 2: Custom Die Cut Edge Fun Fold
The second card in this set has a custom die cut edge that perfectly complements the Thankful Garden flower. I share exactly how to achieve this unique look in the tutorial, making it easy for you to recreate at home.
Coloring with Decorative Masks
Both of these cards feature flowers colored using the Thankful Garden stencil masks. If you’ve never used masks before, you’re in for a treat! I applied ink using a Sponge Dauber, allowing me to achieve a soft, blended effect that brings these florals to life.
