FUN IN THE SUN TRIPLE TIER CARD

This super fun alternate card takes creativity to a whole new level, folks. With a triple tier pull-out design, it’s more than just a card. Oh no, it’s a mini beach vacation you can hold in your hands.

But wait, there’s more! Pull the tab and voila! A captivating beach scene awaits you. A charming vista that expands to unveil hidden islands, and cheerful greetings.

I was on a roll making triple tier pop ups and decided to go outside the “box” and make a larger size. I used die cuts from the Fun in the Sun Paper Pumpkin kit for each tier. When the card is closed the top of each tier peaks out showing a little reveal, like the sail boat and the seagulls. Then when you pull it up a full scene appears.

This is #5 in my triple tier pull out fun fold series. It’s an alternate idea for the June 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit. At the time of this blog post, there are some refills to the kit available while they last.

I always like to repurpose the pieces of each Paper Pumpkin kit to show different ways you can use the kit beyond the instructions. I have to admit that I loved these side step fun fold cards (per instructions) so much I almost didn’t want to make anything else

Even though this is a larger sized card then my other triple tiers, you can still add a kick stand to the back so it stands up on it’s own.

I left a little bit of the the top and middle tier showing when the card is closed. So when it’s closed the sailboat is sailing in the sunset. And when it’s up it reveals a private island and a sign wishing you were here.

The Fun in the Sun Paper Pumpkin kit (and refills) have some really cute die cuts like these palm trees and sunset scenes. The seagulls are die cuts from the Waves dies.
