Storybook Gnomes [Slimline Card]

STORYBOOK GNOMES SLIMLINE CARD I created this slimline card with the Storybook Gnomes Suite. The colored scene is 1 layer. I masked the gnomes to give the look of depth. The pop comes from the coloring with the Stampin Blends markers. See the video from the Stampin Scoop show were I share how to color with the blends and tips. Below I have written instructions, measurements, more photos and links to the rest of the series.

The slimline card matches the gift bag and can be used as a set or individually.

The gnomes are stamped with the Kindest Gnomes stamp set. The words are heat embossed with the Charming Sentiments stamp set and cut with the coordinating dies. The Stampin Up Slimline Envelopes will fit this card perfectly.

The top colored panel is all 1 layer. I created the look of depth by masking the gnomes and shading with the Stampin’ Blends markers. The new masking paper really helps masking, so much easier than the old post it note we used to use.

I like to use the Shimmery White card stock when coloring with the Stampin’ Blends markers. It also adds a shimmer to the project.

I added a little fun on the inside cutting a gnome from the die set.

Here is a color chart to help with Stampin’ Blends colors.
