VIDEO: Painters Tape Technique
Loving this cool and super easy technique using painters tape, of all things! Normally you would use this stuff to mask off areas of your walls/house that you didn't want paint on, however today we'll be using it to apply paint (or ink in our case). Today's sympathy card sample from the Love and Sympathy stamp set was made by Kathie Rotti.
Below is another example from Diane Giarrusso featuring the Spread the Joy stamp set. I'll post the supplies for both cards below.
Tip: I found this technique works best with the new style "foam" ink pads from Stampin' Up, you can still do it with the older "felt" pads, just a slightly different result.

PROJECT: Liz’s ‘Treat or Treat’ Pizza Box
Today's super cute Halloween Treat Box is a "pizza box" from Liz Miller of Stampin' with Liz! You'll want to use your Simply Scored tool for this fun box (dimensions below)...
I have not made a pizza box in a while and forgot how much fun they are! I have provided you with the step by step directions to make your own. Enjoy!
~ Liz
DIRECTIONS:
1. Cardstock measures 5-1/2″ x 8″. This way you get two boxes per sheet of cardstock.
2. Score on the long side at 1″, 3-1/2″, 4-1/2″, and 7″. Then score the short side at 1″.
3. Cut on the long side up to the 1″ score mark on either side to give you little tabs.
4. Fold into box and adhere side flaps as you go.

PROJECT: Skull Popsicle Stick Bracelet
Today's super cool project is from Liz Miller, at Stampin with Liz! It's a Popsicle stick bracelet made with Washi Tape.
Liz writes:
I saw this cool bracelet on display by a fellow demonstrator from the U.K. this past summer at convention. I am sorry I didn’t catch her name to give her proper credit. This is the easiest project to make but it sure take a lot of patience (no joke)!
Here is my daughter modeling the wicked cool bracelet! I think I will be making more of these for her. LOL!!!
Instructions:
1. Boil the Popsicle sticks for 30 minutes. Then remove from heat and set aside and let cool in the water for another 30 minutes.
2. Once cooled enough, start working with the Popsicle sticks and gently bend. Did I mention that you need to be patient? Once you get it bent, fit them inside of a drinking glass. You want the diameter smaller, since the bracelet will stretch a little bit once on your wrist.
3. Allow to dry for a day or two! Again, patience is the key!
4. Once dry, wrap washi tape or designer series paper around the bent Popsicle stick and add a thin coat of Mod Podge to seal.
5. Final step is to add some rhinestones!
VIDEO: Pumpkin Card
Today's video pumpkin project is a spin off of a pumpkin tag I posted on my Facebook page earlier this week. The original was on display at convention, so all I had was a picture and no details. I wanted to recreate it, but I also wanted to make it a little bigger and turn it into a card. So I used the Circle Framelits and a cool technique on the Big Shot so it opens and you can write inside. The question is, is it a card, or is it a tag? You decide!

CARD: Giggle Greetings fun
The Giggle Greetings stamp set is a fun one! Adds a smile to your day. "Birthdays are like hairballs, the more you have, the more you want to gag" ... love it! Makes me laugh. This card was created by Diana Gibbs. For coloring techniques, check out my Giggle Greetings video:
FRAME: Best of Autumn
Today's beautiful project comes from Stampin' Up Concept Artist, Robyn:
It is now time to transition into fall, and this month’s Best of stamp set, “Best of Autumn,” is the perfect set to help you with your crafting needs—such as making a card or a tag for a gift.
I used the leaf and greeting images to create my project. Gold is very popular right now and I wanted to incorporate it—so I gold-embossed a few leaves and colored the cut-up doily pieces using a Sponge Dauber and the Gold Metallic Encore Pad. Last, I rubbed the gold ink pad around the edges of my frame to give it a more rustic feel.
This framed piece would be perfect to use on your mantel or entry table—or even to give as a gift. It will be sure to get everyone excited about the fall season!
