PROJECT
This stinkin’ cute Herbie the Love Bug card and video tutorial is my project for the blog hop. As soon as I saw this Volkswagen beetle car stamp in the Occasions Catalog (Stampin Up Beautiful Ride stamp set), I instantly thought of Herbie the Love bug.
Herbie was a Disney classic a 1963 VW beetle with a mind off his own. There is a Volkswagon repair shop near me that actually has a “real life” Herbie car, I love it.
In my video below, I’ll show you how I made this card. It’s easier than you think, some fun techniques include: sponging, masking and a cool “hack” for getting the #53 from the Day by Day Calendar stamp.
