The "So Sweet" words come from the Hello Life stamp set. The specialty paper used on this card is another "must have", this one from the upcoming 2015 Sale-a-Bration catalog. It's called Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper. It's white 12"X12" paper with a glossy white pattern that is perfect for coloring techniques. Coloring reveals the pattern (also known as "resist"). This background design is Irresistibly Yours DSP, and the different colors can be created by "masking" off each area and sponge daubering over it. On this card, the yellow flower is stamped in Daffodil Delight over So Saffron. The leaves are Pear Pizzazz, stamped in the same ink on the leaves, and stamped off on paper before stamping the solid leaf stamp. Featuring "sneak peek" stamps from the upcoming Occasions catalog...the Big on You Stamp Set. I've been having so much fun playing with new products, I'm like a kid in a candy store. A great Valentines Day / Love card. The "I do love you" was heat embossed gold on gold, and background was a super easy and striking "direct to paper" technique. CARD: Ornamental Pine Glimmer WOW

stampin up ornamental pine stamp st cardThis card is a real WOW in person, stamped with the Ornamental Pine stamp set on Crumb Cake card stock. The images are stamped, and the edges sponged in Early Espresso ink. Then cpver the top "direct to paper" with versamark ink and heat emboss with Iridescent Ice emboss powder for the "glitter". Voila...It's gorgeous! This is one of my 113 Founders Circle swaps, this one by Cynthia Millan.

Using my fav "White Christmas" stamp set, a circle is cut out of the white panel with the 1-1/4" Circle punch and backed with the Stampin Up Shaker Frames (124155) to create the shaker card. The Frosted Sequins (135835) from the Holiday Catalog are inside the shaker. The patterned stripes on the bottom are All is Calm Washi Tape.

VIDEO: Moose Munch & Reindeer Food Treats

stampin up moose munch treat Looking for some fun homemade gift ideas for teachers, neighbors, friends and family? I've got you covered! Make some "no stress" Moose Munch (or Reindeer Food) with my friend Michelle Zindorf's recipe below. It's so easy even I could make it, and I'm not much of a cook or baker. My friend Shayna and I had a lot of fun making a batch of each of these for the holidays this past weekend. I've put a quick video together to show you how to make this adorable Moose Munch tag, colored with Blendabilites markers. I created a downloadable pdf file for it, you can simple save and print it on Whisper White card stock. Cut out with the Stampin Up Labels Framelits, then stamp and color. Voila! Do the same when making the Santa "reindeer food" treats, except you will stamp first, then cut out with the Star Framelits. IMG_0928The Moose stamp comes from the "Walk in the Wild" stamp set. I had my own "wild" experience this weekend when I walked out my back door and a Bald Eagle flew by me!!!!! A bald Eagle....in Marlboro, Mass?!?! I just stood there in shock watching him soar and swoop down in the lake, thinking I must be imagining this. Surely, I'm mistaken, surely this could not possibly be a real bald eagle. But it WAS a Bald Eagle! I got a couple of pictures and a video (click here). I've never heard of one anywhere near here before, it was quite the experience to have him right in my back yard. Still pretty excited to have seen him, and honored that he choose the pine tree next door to perch in.

It's made with the Circle framelits, cut the circle and attach a window sheet to the back. then rim the back with either Stampin Dimensional (the edging works awesome) or foam tape. Attach your backing scene and Fill with confetti...like the stars from the new star punch, or chunky glitter. The snowman and the polar bear are inside and were attached to the dimensionals. We're all really excited the day has finally arrived to unveil our projects that we've been crafting for you. You may be just beginning your journey through our blogs, or you may have arrived from Liz Miller's Blog (#11). To continue on your journey through our Christmas projects, simply use the buttons on each post. My share is a Christmas Card created to look like the stained glass window of a church. From the Stampin Up "Gentle Peace" photopolymer stamp set. This stamp set is what I call a "rogue" stamp set, it was released last month separately from any of Stampin Up's catalogs and is available in my online store. The scene is gorgeous, Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus. Colored with the Blendabilities markers. I will list all of the supplies below.
