Today's video tutorial offers a super cool masking technique, creating the effect of a "faux layer" and adding dimension to the card. The gorgeous flowers come from the Field Flowers stamp set, which is a 2-step stamp set. 2-step stamp sets offer a quick easy solution to coloring, as there are 2 stamps to each image that can be stamped in different colors (demonstrated in the video). This past Saturday (Aug 25) myself and almost 20 demos and friends from my group were able to attend the Stampin' Up! Regional event in Providence, RI!! Wow, so many ideas and so much fun. It was just what the Dr. ordered, a little "stamp time" with friends. A great time was had by all. Frightening Feline aka: Scaredy Cat! Or maybe Scary Cat...but he's not really that scary. This stamp from the Holiday Catalog just makes me smile, I love all of the "spooky" fun words that create the cat image. It's time for some freaky fun "Toxic Treat" Halloween projects. Who doesn't love giving Halloween candy and treats for the kids, little and big. Today's video tutorial is a super easy and fun "window" goody / candy box, using the Simply Scored tool from Stampin' Up! and a super stinkin' cute box top made from the Scallop Square big shot die of all things. This box is big enough to fit lots of candy, and other gifts. More fun video tips include glass glitter and pop up banners.

How do they do that?! The "impossible bottle" is a bottle that has an object inside it that does not appear to fit through the mouth of the bottle. The ship in the bottle is a traditional example, and in the case of this card maybe the easiest "ship in a bottle" to create since all you really have to do is "stamp it" in there lol.

This was a display sample I saw at Stampin' Up convention, the car was stamped repeatedly, without re-inking for the "motion" effect.

Hello Kitty is one of the most recognized characters, and now...she's a card! With just a few punches, she's complete. Love the red glimmer paper, the perfect effect for the bow.
