This card coordinates the schooner sailboat with the Nautical Expedition Designer Paper (122343) and Early Espresso Bakers Twine (123124). The schooner is layered on the Two Tags Bigz die (115954). This card was designed by Rene Watson.

The Because I Care hostess stamp set is one of my favorites! I love the hydrangea flower image, it's so beautiful. I originally created this project for my stamp clubs when the 2011 Idea Book was released and this was a brand new stamp set. This idea book & catalog is nearing it's end, and that means the hostess sets will no longer be availalbe after June 30.
Flower Garden Impressions

I am in love with a new impressions folder, it's name is Flower Garden Impressions Folder (123113)!! It's so pretty, and a simple way to jazz up your projects. This card is a fantastic example, instead of a stamp, the focal panel is the Flower Garden impressions folder. The color is classic ink pads (Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Melon Mambo) dabbed on with Sponge Daubers (102892). The decorative side is created with the Eyelet Border punch (119853), and the textured flowers on the old olive card base were created with the Elegant Bouquet impressions folder (115964).

Fabulous Florets and Flower Garden

One of my favorite new toys in the new Summer mini catalog is the Flower Garden Impressions Folder (123113). I'm a big fan of the impressions folder texture backgrounds, and the blooming flowers up the side are just breath taking. This card uses the folder with the Fabulous Florets Stamp Set (123025 Wood, 123027 Clear Mount), the "thanks, thanks, thanks" greeting is from the Pretty Postage Stamp Set (123095 wood, 123097 clear mount) coupled with the new Postage Stamp Punch (122344). This card was created by Melissa Davies.

Plant Hope – Square Tulips Frame Technique

You may recognize this card from yesterday's Doggie punch video tutorial as another example of the Square Frame technique created from the Framed Tulips Impressions Folder (121809). The palm tree is from the Stampin' Up! Plant Hope Stamp Set (117042 Wood, 120540 Clear Mount). I watercolored the palm tree, (click here to see a video tutorial on watercoloring). Then before I created the frame, I textured the paper using the Square Lattice Impressions Folder (119976). The "Happiness Always" is from the Happy Greetings Stamp Set (123311 Wood, 123313 Clear Mount) in the Summer Mini Catalog.
VIDEO: Punch Doggie Card

Topping my "Stinkin-Cute-O-Meter" is this week's video, it is the cutest dog card!! The doggie is made with Stampin' Up! circle and oval punches. And to add to the fun, make an "impression" with Impression folders. Learn how to create this cool square frame using the Framed Tulips Impressions folder. I'll also demonstrate how to use the Paper Piercer and SU Template (from the Mat Pack) to create the finishing touch on this master piece.
