If you’ve been following along with my Double Diagonal Fun Fold Series, you already know I love a card that makes people stop and say, “Wait — how did you DO that?!” Well, friends, the Match Day Double Diagonal Fold Card is exactly that kind of card!

Using the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! A Wonderful Match Suite Collection (click for details), this fun fold card features that signature double diagonal cut that creates a dramatic reveal when you open it. The front showcases the bold black-and-white soccer ball designer paper with a striking “Your Biggest Fan” sentiment circle heat-embossed in white, plus the cutest little orange training cones die-cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock. It’s sporty, it’s eye-catching, and honestly — it’s just so fun to make!

Okay, let me just fan-girl over these products for a second because the Stampin’ Up! A Wonderful Match Suite is seriously something special! The 12×12 Designer Series Paper pack is packed with patterns that instantly scream soccer— from the classic hexagon soccer ball print to the vibrant green striped turf pattern.
And the Match Day Bundle pairs perfectly with the Ready Set Go Stamp Set for all the sporty sentiments you need. For this card, I used Basic Black cardstock as the base, stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, and heat embossed it in white using Basics Wow! Embossing Powder for that crisp, professional finish.
What I love most about this suite is that the colors are bold and versatile — you can customize the jersey and flag die cuts to match YOUR favorite team’s colors, which makes it extra personal. How cool is that?!
