Thats Funny - Silly Cards
Posted on July 29th, 2009, 5 responses.
Don’t you just love a funny card? Sometimes the occasion just calls for a little laughter, and the stamp set “That’s Funny” is just too cute. From “Complimentary Peanuts” that tell you “you’re amazing…” to I’m really lucky to have a friend like you…since I tend to scare other people away” and my favorite “everyone has a photographic memory…some just don’t have film”.
Here are a few cards I made when with the set when it first came out earlier in the year.
That’s Funny is currently on the Stampin’ Up Dormant List, you can find that list by clicking here > . You can also find it in my online store (see below for picture of the set.

Who says stamping is just for girls?
Posted on July 26th, 2009, 7 responses.
“It’s fun to have a mom that stamps” says my oldest son today “because then you get to try out all of the new stuff!!” My heart just melted. My boys were so jazzed to see the new “extreme” collection of stamps in the new Stampin’ Up catalog on page 80: Extreme Dirt Bike, Extreme Skateboard, Extreme Guitar and Surfboard. It’s the first thing they saw in the new catalog. They asked me if I had the stamps yet (the catalog wasn’t released yet) so I told them I wouldn’t be able to get them until July 1, they said “but you ARE getting them right?!” hehehe. Ya gotta love boys.
I feel the same way, I love playing with new stamps. Now I have the stamps they’ve been dying for, and they have been stamping up a storm. Look at these super cute cards they made all by themselves. Chips off the ole block aren’t they?

Made to Last
Posted on July 22nd, 2009, 4 responses.
I think the new Stampin’ Up “Made to Last” stamp set featuring the jean pocket is just the cutest dang set! I couldn’t wait to use it.
This card is from my July stamp club projects. It’s actually a “3-step” stamp on the pocket: 1) the denim material 2) the pokcet outline and 3) the designer stitch. All in elegant eggplant.
I used the new Modern Label & Butterful Punches, Orchard Ribbon Originals and the coolest is the new Movers & Shapers windows to go on the magnetic die!! So cool see the step by step photos below. This made the card into a “window” card!

Here is a super cutie-patootie card that I created for stamp club this month. It uses the brand new Stampin’ Up On A Pedestal Stamp Set, Razzleberry Lemonade designer paper, and Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon. The cupcake is colored with stampin’ write markers directly on the rubber, then stamped on the paper. This card also features Soft Suede card stock and ink (new In color).
The awning effect was created with the scallop edge punch. super, super cute.

Lots of Bots - Happy Birthday Human
Posted on July 8th, 2009, 6 responses.
I just love this stamp set! It’s brand new, in the 2009-2010 Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog, called Lots of Bots. The robots are the cutest dang things and I’ve been having a lot of fun playing with them.
For this card, I colored the robot and background with Stampin’ Write markers. Then used a blender pen to pull the color outside the edges *gasp* of the nuts and bolts background to create dimension. The robot and balloon are cut and on Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth.
The card base is Stampin’ Up!’s new Bermuda Bay. If you love the new In Colors, check out my In Color club

Let freedom ring! Courage, Hero, Service and Sacrifice
Posted on July 4th, 2009, 4 responses.
Let freedom ring! It’s the 4th of July here in America and we are getting ready for a festive day with friends, family and fireworks! Many of my customers are in, or have close family members in the service. I would like to take a moment to say Thank You to all of our men & women actively serving in the military, and to our veterans.
I love Stampin’ Up!’s patriotic stamp sets, The Free & the Brave has been one of my favorites. I was really sad when it retired in June. I used it one last time at my June stamp club class. When I got my first peak at my new catalog, and saw the new stamp set Courage, I was over the moon! I may even love Courage more. Kudos SU for wowing me yet again!
This first card is a re-creation of our stamp club card with the retired set, and it uses the brand new Courage stamp set and the Hero jumbo wheel for the background. The second card is the original.
You can order the 115330 Courage stamp set, 116229 Hero jumbo wheel and also a new word set called 115992 Service & Sacrifice in my online store by clicking here >
