I totally fell in love with the Gratuitous Graffiti background stamp when it made it’s debut in the 2008 Fall / Winter Catalog. Of course, I was thinking about the holidays, and it went untouched until after Christmas when I was ready to make my swaps for SU Leadership this past January. I was thrilled to break this stamp out of the plastic case and put it to work.

This is my first of 2 posts showcasing this background stamp. This card uses black and white craft ink pads for the “shadow” effect. I did the black craft ink pad “direct to paper” by rubbing the ink pad directly on the edges of the inner panel and frayed the edges of the hemp for the “goth” effect.
