Does Easter feel like it's sneaking up on anyone else this year? I know when it is, I know that Lent has started, and yet I just realized Easter is only a few weeks away! Time to get started on some Easter cards. This card idea came from a display at a Stampin' Up! event I attended, and I just loved it. This is such a perfect religious Easter Card, because sometimes "Bunnies" and "eggs" aren't the right fit for your recipient. The perfect plum taffeta ribbon, over the cross is that finishing touch that makes you say "WOW".
As an alternative to Whisper white card stock, you can also use the Stampin' Up! Note Cards and envelopes for this card base.

I'm going to be honest, when I first saw the All Dressed Up bundle in the back of the newest Spring Catalog, it wasn't high on my list of "must haves". Then my friend Gianna brought this card over one night and *gasp* the bundle instantly made it's way to the top of my list...even the expedited shipping "must have tomorrow" list hahaha! In today's video, I'm going to show you 2 cool techniques, on top of how to create this fabulous dress. The first is how to make your clear mount stamp sets more versatile. Look closely, you may not have even noticed my stamped words on this card are in a different shape and order than they come on the stamp. My second tip/technique is how to create this fun "quote" layer for your words using the Windows Framelits (still available in the Spring Catalog).

Spring catalog And I especially love how it pairs with it's coordinating Clearlits Die: Happy Whale #129403. I had lots of fun making today's video, even my little "goof up" with the colors...ooopsie! Just goes to show, you've got options. Don't miss the little rhinestone tip.
