Pop Up Cross Cards for Easter – Handmade Card Tutorial
Hey friends!
I’m so excited to share today’s handmade card project with you — it’s a set of Pop Up Cross Cards for Easter that I’ve been dying to try for a while now. And let me tell you… they did not disappoint! If you’re looking for a meaningful Easter card idea that folds flat for mailing and has that wow factor when opened, this is a must-try.

An Easter Message with the Stampin’ Up! Faith Collection
The words on this project came from the beautiful Faith Collection Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! I used the sentiments “He is Risen” and “God is love”, which are perfect for celebrating the season of Easter and sharing hope with those you care about. You’ll find this stamp set and coordinating die in the Online Exclusive section of my store.

Featuring Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper
I paired the Faith Collection with the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper, and oh my goodness… these watercolor-style patterns are stunning. They showcase flowing fields and dreamy florals in soft, natural colors that are ideal for spring.

For each card in the set, I used a different pattern from the paper pack so you can see how they all look when used in this style. I even cut the paper so the artwork flows perfectly across the card front and into the background — such a cool effect!

Matching Ribbon Made Easy
One of my favorite tricks: I colored white ribbon with my Stampin’ Blends Markers to match the colors in the paper. It’s a quick and easy way to create custom embellishments that tie your whole project together beautifully.

Mailing Your Pop Up Cross Cards
Worried about mailing these? Don’t be! These fold flat and fit inside a standard Stampin’ Up! Medium envelope. Super convenient, right? I do recommend checking with your local post office just in case they require extra postage, especially if you’re adding embellishments or layers.

Want to Make One?
I’ve created a step-by-step PDF tutorial you can download — perfect for beginners or experienced crafters alike. I also filmed a quick video tutorial that walks you through how to assemble the card base.
You can find both the PDF and video in the tutorial section below.

I was wondering where you got the envelopes ? I can’t seem to find them online.
Thanks for the great card

Hi
please help me on your cross base is 7 by 3 and half.
Can see where it goes on your video. Thank you so much
Oh no! I’m sorry and I appreciate you bringing the error to my attention. The card base should be 5-1/2″ x 7″ Scored in half on the 7″ side so folded it is 5-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. I will fix the instructions.
You will see this on the video at the 30second mark. That is what the white panel attaches to.
I think
I solved it thank you
7 by 5 and a half score at 3 and half
Yes! We were probably responding at the same time
Love how you turned the pop up cross into a regular card. I like the size you made it. I made 20 for Easter cards, however my card bases were the regular size A2 card.
Thank you for always giving a PDF with your tutorials. Much appreciated.
Thanks for this beautiful card. I made one to use for my granddaughter’s confirmation.
