BLOG HOP & VIDEO: Awesome ideas for your Ladybug Punch [Ladybug Series Cards 1-3]

Ladybug Series

LADYBUG SERIES

Mom’s day is our theme so I’m dedicating my new ladybug series to all the ladies! On today’s video I’ll share how to make cool cards featuring the Stampin Up Ladybug Builder punch and Hello Ladybug stamp set. The first using it as it was intended, as a ladybug. Then stepping outside the ladybug box and turning it into a bumblebee card!

The ladybug punch is awesome! You can turn it into so many different things. I’ll share 12 awesome ideas that are almost anything but ladybugs! I do have a couple ladybugs to share in the mix. I’ll be going beyond the traditional ideas and share tutorials for bees, butterflies, moths, chocolate bugs, even Disney Mouse Ear hat cards! I love going outside the box and this punch.

All of the cards in this series also feature the Stampin’ Up Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper.

Today is my Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Blog Hop . We’re all really excited to unveil our projects, and announce a new contest giveaway. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below.

Kicking off my ladybug series with ladybug cards! The designer series paper background is the Abstract Beauty.

I broke down the components of this card to make it easy to duplicate.

The dots for the flying ladybug are from the Sweet Farewell stamp set. Sadly it has sold out but you can also use the Stampin Write marker to make these dots.

Transforming the ladybug into a bumblebee. I’ll share how to make the stripes with the punch on the video.

I textured the wings with the Tasteful Textile 3D Folder for the texture on the wings

I used accents from the Stampin Up Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack, Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper and Adhesive Backed Hexagons.

Here’s another classic ladybug card. I have instructions for this card above.

Stampin Up Hello Ladybug Stamp Set and coordinating Ladybug Builder punch.
