Welcoming Window Stamp Set – Card Tutorial
Make your own custom designer paper backgrounds with the brick stamp in the Stampin’ Up Welcoming Window stamp set. The flowers in the window box can easily be changed to any color to suit your taste. The words can be changed to make this design good for any occasion.
I have full, easy to follow instructions below.
HOW TO MAKE THIS CARD
CUTS:
- Crumb Cake Card Base – 11″ x 4-1/4″ scored in half
- Basic White Cardstock – 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Basic White (Inside) – 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Scraps: Vellum, Basic Black, Gray Granite & Basic White
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Stamp the following pieces:
- Randomly stamp the bricks across the entire Basic White panel. Stamp twice in between inkings to create different color variations and dimension in the bricks
- Stamp the words on Basic White scrap in Bermuda Bay ink
- Stamp 2 sets of leaves and flowers images on Basic White scrap in Bumblebee and Old Olive ink
- Using the Stampin Cut & Emboss machine, die cut the following pieces:
- Words from the long rectangle die
- 2 sets of flowers with coordinating flower die
- Cut 4 hinge dies from Basic Black scrap
- Crumb Cake scrap:
- Window pane
- 2 Shutters
- Window box
- Trace around the window sill and cut from Crumb Cake and Vellum Card stock. Layer the window sill over the vellum and card stock backing and attach to the white background piece
- Attach the background piece to the card base using Seal Adhesive
- Attach the black hinges to the shutters with Glue Dots. Then attach the shutters to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Attach the flowers to the window box with Glue Dots. Then attach the window box to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Attach the words with Stampin Dimensionals
