Treasured Medallion Gift Set Tutorial

The Stampin Up Treasured Medallion Stamp Set offers a unique and fresh style on this gift set. The medallion makes a great focal piece on the card. It’s colored with Stampin’ Blends markers. The arch image is turned into a label accent for the words on the gift box.

HOW TO MAKE THIS CARD

CARD CUTS:

Old Olive Card Base: 8-1/2″ x 4-1/4 scored in half on the long side at 4-1/4″
Basic White: 4″ x 3-3/4″
Scrap: Purple Posy for label

BOX CUTS:

Bumblebee: 5-1/4″ x 11″
Basic White: 1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Scraps: Love You Always foil and Sand & Sea Designer Paper

CARD INSTRUCTIONS:

Using Memento Black ink, stamp the medallion image on white panel and the words on Purple Posy scrap.
Color the medallion with Stampin‘ Blends Markers.
Punch the 4 corners of the white medallion layer with the Ice Cream Cone punch.
Cut out the words with the label die from the Potted Succulents die set.
Texture the background of the card with the Dainty Diamonds folder.
Attach a strip of Seaside Metallic ribbon to the front of the medallion with Seal Adhesive.
Wrap twine around the white panel and tie in a bow.
Attach words and white panels to the card base with Stampin‘ Dimensionals.

BOX INSTRUCTIONS:

Stamp the words in Rococo Rose on the Basic White strip. Punch either end with the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch.
Stamp the arch image twice in Memento Black ink on Sand & Sea DSP to create the label. Trim out with Paper Snips.
Stamp the leaf image randomly on the Bumblebee card stock.
Using the Wrapped Flowers Dies, cut out leaves from Love You Always foil sheets.
Use Tear Tap to attach the Bumblebee layer to the top of the Mini Paper Pumpkin box, and wrap to the bottom. Use a bone folder to burnish each score line. Assemble the box after the layer is attached.
Wrap the ribbon around the box attaching it with Seal only on the bottom if you’d like it to stay attached after it’s untied.
Attach the foil leaves with Glue Dots.
Attach the 2 label panels with Stampin‘ Dimensionals.
