VIDEO: Baroque Texture Background Pop Card

Tlabel love-leonie-stampinupoday’s video is a very cool and simple technique to make the textured impressions background “pop” off your card. I am planning to make these for Easter Cards, and change the “Happy Birthday” artisan label punch to The Happy Easter from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. The card is so elegant and can be used for any occasion: wedding, birthday, congrats, etc.

Don’t miss special guest appearance from Flash Gordon, free of charge! Yeppers, true story. Ok, so my beagle has a super hero complex. Funny stuff.

This card idea came all the way from Sydney, Australia and Leonie Shroder (Di Dimich). I did mine in Coastal Cabana, here are Leonie’s different color variations: Pink Pirouette, Pool Party and Pistachio Pudding.

  1. Great video Tami! I’m a little confused by the measurements in the inspiration sheet though. What size are the vanilla panels? Also, I don’t notice the Early Espresso layer or where you used Modern Medley or Gold Foil sheets.

  2. Tami, you forgot to give the very vanilla sizes of card stock for this card

Nice to see how you multitask with social media, you make it appear so easy. I’m sure I am not the only new StampinUp demonstrator that looks to you for inspiration. Might just CASE this for a card set workshop, THANKS

  4. Hi! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card design. That blue is so very pretty. I’m glad I came to your blog to see this video. It wasn’t running well on the YouTube site for some reason. Thanks for sharing!

I can honestly say I’ve never heard our stretch ruffled ribbon compared to a garter before. And like a good Barry Manilow tune, I will never get that out of my head. Let me return the favor: Her name was Lola…:)

  7. Your video was so fun to watch!! I haven’t watched such a “cute” tutorial!! I will be back!
