Today’s video tutorial features an easy “masking technique“. Why “50 Shades of Gray” you ask? Was it the “mask”? *blush* Or just the zany things I come out with when stamping and talking to myself when no one’s looking?? Catch today’s video and find out!
Beautiful in black and white, with a “shade of gray”. The masking offers depth on a single layer. Originally created as a sympathy card, this could be easily used for any occasion (Birthday, congratulations, thinking of you, etc) simply by changing the greeting in the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

I love this one! It is hard to find a simple card without tons of layers and embellishments for those of us who are new. This is one I can actually make.
I love projects that I can do with just a few items that end up looking this great. Thanks so much!

I Love Love this card! I think I will use it for a birthday card. Very simple yet beautiful.
You are one talented lady – it’s perfect!
Great card! Love it. Do you have to use the plastic sheet? Could you use a paper mask instead?
Yes, absolutely you can use card stock as a mask. The advantage of the window sheet is being able to see thru it to line up.
Beautiful and elegant!

Wow, that is simple but elegant. Very good for sympathy card
A simple but lovely card, and for sympathy I don’t think you want anything to busy. Good idea for the mask as you would be able to use it over and over.
This is a very classy card.
LOVE this card! (and the 50 Shades reference!)
