We have arrived landed in Kona, Hawaii on Sunday and at first glance it felt like we were landing right on a volcano with all of the lava. Very wild stuff. We got to the Hilton Waikoloa Village and immediately felt like we were in paradise. This is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been to.
Stampin’ Up threw a welcome party by one of the pools our first night. We were greeted by cute Hawaiians bearing beads and flowers for our hair. The picture to the right is part of our gang (and former Advisory board) Leasa Williams, myself, Dale Filemore (President of SU), Cheryl Flynn and Catherine Pooler.
Below are some other cool pics, there are whales frolicking right outside our hotel room. You can see a picture of a whale tale. Then from around the big island some sights we’ve seen: Rainbow waterfall, a volcano crater and see turtles that were on the black sand beach (they were all over the water, almost like a sea turtle tide). The last picture is a gift we got in our room tonight, it was filled wtih yummy goodies.
