VIDEO: How to make a shutter card with Capture the Good

SHUTTER CARD

I'm pretty excited to share this shutter card video with you. It's not only a cool interactive card technique, but it includes the Capture the Good stamp set that I helped design with Stampin Up! I love this set, it's my favorite (I know I may be slightly biased). I love photography. The front of this card says "Snap Click Say Cheese" with a photobombing koala. And when you open it, there is a camera with a shutter that opens to reveal another koala! Super fun! I was also thinking how cool this idea would be for a party invitation. When you open it, the camera reveals a photo. I combined the Stampin Up Birthday Bonanza Suite with the Capture the Good stamp set for this party card. The Bonanza Buddies stamp set and dies, combined with the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper, pompoms and matching Daffodil Ruched Ribbon. I will share how I made this card on the video below. There is an accompanying free PDF below as well that includes all of the measurements and scoring information. My inspiration for this card came from a shutter card that Donna Hepburn created (photo below) using the camera stamp. She sent me one and I was so inspired, I've been dying to make one.

VIDEO: How to make Eclipse Cards with retiring Large Letters and new Capture the Good

ECLIPSE CARDS

Something old, something new....today's card class is sure to wow you! This cool "Smile" camera card was created with the retiring Stampin' Up Large Letter Alphabet Dies AND the upcoming Capture the Good Stamp Set. I had so much fun making these. They are surprisingly quick, easy and don't have many supplies. Just stamps, ink, adhesive and the Large Letters dies. I will show you a quick trick on how to get the 5 letters on this standard sized card. I will demonstrate with Blackberry Bliss. But I made these in each of the new upcoming 2019-21 In Colors and they look so cool. I'll share those as well as my Capture the Good Pre-Order card kit. Important notes: This Large Letter die set used for this technique is retiring! The final date to order is June 3 (or while they last, they may sell out before then). The new Capture the Good stamp set isn't available until June 4. Take advantage of my special offer Capture the Good Card Kit Pre-order that includes the new In Colors (see below).

The new Stampin Up annual catalog is coming out on June 4, and it is my favorite catalog ever! Not only is it awesome, but it contains a very special stamp set that is near and dear to my heart on page 142: the Capture the Good stamp set. Why is it so special to me you may be wondering? The Capture the Good stamp set was the set I inspired and designed with Stampin Up's artists for achieving a Million Dollars in sales with the company (now $2mil). I love photography, and I love that I could combine it with my passion for paper crafting. The set features a camera image and fun sayings to use inside the lens and stand alone. You don't have to be into photography to love it. Be one of the first to get this cool camera stamp set, along with new In colors, class supplies, tutorial and video at a savings in my exclusive "Capture the Good Online Class" kit. You'll learn several fun techniques, including how to make this fun shaker card. Because this is a special stamp set, I'm offering this special on 2 different card kit bundles. The "Basic Kit" and the "Gotta Have It All Kit". Both include the stamp set and supplies to make these cards. 2019-20 In Color Collection: The Capture the Good stamp set isn't the only hot new item in this kit. It aslo includes a sampler of new 2019-21 In Color Collection products: Assortment of card stock, package of designer paper, faceted dots and ribbon. You can even upgrade to the "Gotta Have It All" kit and get the new markers and ink pads!** This is a fabulous way to get your new In Color products and save money. The online class includes a pdf tutorial with step by step photo instructions, as well as a video tutorial. The instructions are for these 5 different cards, however you will have enough supplies left over to make many more then what is shown. With a few additional embellishments and card stock, can also make each card in any/all of the in colors. Kits ship June 11.

CIRCLE CHART

We designed the center of the camera (lens) to coordinate with the Circle Punches and Layering Circle dies to create different effects. You can stamp words in the center, stamp a scene, punch it out to make a shaker card, add a photo to make it a photo card or stack them to create a zoom lens. Here's a chart of what punches and dies work with the lens.

CAPTURE THE GOOD - PART 1 OF 3

Page 142 of the 2019-20 Annual Catalog is my most favorite of all time! I've been waiting a long time for this. Papercrafting is my 1st love, and photography is my 2nd. I was able to combine them together with this stamp set. Use the camera lens for words, photos, nature scenes and more. I've got a video from the stamp set debut, and lots of card samples to share below. Including a chart, I made showing how to use the lens of the camera with different sized circle punches and dies. I will post some more ideas and uses for this stamp set over the next 2 days.

Smile you on candid camera! Eclipse card from the special Capture the Good stamp set

WELCOME

Blog hopping with the Stampin Up Incentive Trip Achievers. This blog hop is always filled with amazing ideas, from a few of the company's Top Demonstrators. It’s an honor to be a part of this, and I know you’re going to enjoy these projects. Our theme this month we are featuring Sneak Peeks from the upcoming Annual catalog. I am blessed to be able to share something special and very personal for my Blog Hop project today. It's featuring a brand new Stampin' Up stamp set called "Capture the Good" that I designed for being a Million Dollar Seller in the company. I've waited a loooong time for this debut. Papercrafting is my first love, and photography is my 2nd. With this stamp set I was able to put them both together. I've included the video of my presentation at the Atlantic City OnStage event featuring tons of ideas, and different ways to use this stamp set. My card share is the Eclipse technique featuring the camera from the Capture the Good stamp set, and "SMILE" from the Large Letters Dies. If you haven't made an Eclipse card , they are so fun and easy. I have a video here showing how to make them. But be warned, these Large Letters dies are retiring and will only be available "while supplies last". Be sure to pick yours up asap if you don't have them yet.   [caption id="attachment_43610" align="alignnone" width="640"] Here's the stamp set! At the moment I may have the only copy of it outside of Stampin Up's home office. But soon everyone can get your hands on this.[/caption]

VIDEO: How to make a Pop Up Camera Card

POP-UP CAMERA CARD

In this online class video I'll share how to make this super cool pop-up camera card. I used the Capture the Good Stamp Set that I designed with Stampin Up. This is an easy card to make, and will surely bring a "smile" to it's recipient. You don't need to be or love a photographer to give this card to someone. It's perfect for those teens that love selfies and snap chat too. I made this a birthday card using the words from the Well Written Dies. The dies have a variety of words that you could sub and make this card great for other occasions such as: thanks, wedding, miss you and best wishes. The photo of the Word Wishes dies showed them backwards so I flipped it so you can read all of the words you can use.

CARD: Meerkats posing for the camera “From all of us”

CARD

Adorable "From all of us" card makes a great birthday, congratulations, wedding or anniversary card from the gang. I combined the new Stampin Up The Gang's All Meer Saleabration stamp set with the Capture the Good stamp set (my fav wink wink). I colored the images with Stampin Blends markers. The meerkats in the lens was stamped and colored on scrap paper, then punched out with the circle punch. I layered that over the camera image. I used some new embellishments from the 2020 Mini Catalog: Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones.

BLOG HOP & VIDEO: How to make an interactive Photo booth Filmstrip Card

BLOG HOP & VIDEO

Welcome to my Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Summer Theme Blog Hop. We’re all really excited to unveil our projects, and announce a new contest giveaway. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below. When I think of summer, I think of vacations with the kids, playing at the lake, going to the amusement parks and taking lots and lots of pictures. So naturally, the new Stampin' Up Capture the Good stamp set fit in perfectly with this theme for me. What was old is new. I repurposed an old "Waterfall Card Technique" into an interactive Photo booth Filmstrip card. I combined the Capture the Good Stamp set with the stinkin' cute cows in the new Over the Moon stamp set. And added some background texture with the Artisan Textures stamp set. The Waterfall Technique isn't the only cool trick I'll share in today's video class. I'll share a cool trick on how to stamp any image or words in the lens (Center) of the camera image. We'll also use the Stampin' Blends markers for coloring the cows.
