CARD: Brewing up some fun with Founders Circle Swap

teeheehee stampin upHad some super "stinkin' cute" fun with the swap card I designed for Founders Circle this past week in St. George, UT (click for details). The theme for the event was the Holidays, and I always like to shake it up with a little Halloween. I promise to share more of the amazing swaps I received from the event, 113 total! Wow, that's a big swap. In case you were wondering what a swap with 113 of Stampin Up's top demonstrators looks like, here's my "Swap Selfie" hahaha! We were lined up throughout the entire first floor of the hotel, good thing Stampin Up books the entire hotel. 10406626_10152432708923763_2359298986789969595_n

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Bats in the Attic Card – Founders Swap

bats-in-the-atticStampin' Up invites the Top 100 Demonstrators in the company on a retreat the 3rd week in September, it is one of the highest honors in the company. I have been humbled to be a part of this event for the past 5 years! One of my favorite parts of the trip is a card front swap. These are the most fantastic swaps, and I can't wait to participate each year. Of course this means I have to make 100+ of 1 card, but it's soooo worth it. This card is the design I chose for this year's swap. I'm calling it "Bats in the Attic".

CARD: Snow Place Snowman for Christmas

snowplace-stmapinupDo you wanna build a snowman? Did you read that line, or did you sing it in your head? lol. I can't even say that without singing it. If you answered "yes" then you need the Snow Place stamp set and matching "build your own snowman" Snow Friends framelits. Cute snowmen, without frostbite. This snowman was built with the bundle. This card also features some fun accents, the clouds were created with the Tree Builder Punch, and the scarf is ribbon. Too cute. This was one of my Stampin Up Founders Circle swaps. Designed by Eldonna Epp. Save 15% when you purchase the stamp set and framelits as a bundle.

CARD: Ornamental Pine Glimmer WOW

stampin up ornamental pine stamp st cardThis card is a real WOW in person, stamped with the Ornamental Pine stamp set on Crumb Cake card stock. The images are stamped, and the edges sponged in Early Espresso ink. Then cpver the top "direct to paper" with versamark ink and heat emboss with Iridescent Ice emboss powder for the "glitter". Voila...It's gorgeous! This is one of my 113 Founders Circle swaps, this one by Cynthia Millan.

CARD: Happy Thanksgiving Wreath

wondrous wreath stampin up give thanksHappy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone has a wonderful day of rest, relaxation and togetherness with family and/or friends. My boys and I will be celebrating with family at my Mom's new place here in town. It's her first time hosting in her new home and we're all looking forward to it. Today's share is a fun "give thanks" card. Using the baby wipe technique, placing ink pad refill drops on a baby wipe in various colors to "make your own ink pad". Then stamping on the Ivory naturals. The wreath is made to look like it's hanging on a door but cutting a square out of the front panel and placing the window sheet behind it. This is one of my 113 Founders Circle swaps, this one by Nancy Lewis.

CARD: Seasonally Scattered from Shelli and Sara

seasonally scattered-shelli gardner stampin upThis card is one of the most special of the 113 Founders Circle swaps from last month. All of the cards were amazing, and I'll be sharing more throughout the next couple of months. The reason why this card is so special, is because it was made by Shelli Gardner (CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin Up) and her daughter Sara Douglas. It's not unusual to find Shelli still making her swaps at FC (before swap night) while she's visiting with everyone. Receiving her swap is such an honor and a joy. It's one I cherish and save.
