In Color Ombre Gift Bag & Card Sets Tutorial

Here’s a tutorial for in color ombre gift bag & card sets I created on the Stampin‘ Scoop Show 2021-23 In Color Edition. These are made with all 5 new In Colors: Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Polished Pink. I used the new Stampin‘ Up Color & Contour stamp set and Scalloped Contour dies bundle. I didn’t have the new In Color Jewels so I colored Rhinestone Jewels with the coordinating Stampin Blends markers to match.

HOW TO MAKE THESE

CARD CUTS

Basic White Card Base: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half
In Color Card Stock: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ for the largest scalloped die
Basic White: 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the 2nd largest scalloped die
Scrap of Basic White for the Flower

CARD INSTRUCTIONS

Stamp the flower image on Basic White Scrap paper and color with In Color Stampin‘ Blends Markers.
Color 3 rhinestones with the Stampin‘ Blends Markers OR use the In Color Jewels.
Using the Stampin‘ Cut & Emboss Machine cut the following:
- The flower image
- Largest scallop die from In Color Card Stock
- 2nd Largest from Basic White
- Smallest from the same In Color Card Stock (I cut this from the center of the large scallop as it would be hidden when the card is assembled).
Stamp the words in Versamark ink and heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
Assemble card with Stampin‘ Dimensionals.
Attach 3 rhinestones or jewels.

BAG CUTS

Ombre Gift Bag
In Color Card Stock: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ for the largest scalloped die
Basic White: 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the 2nd largest scalloped die
Scrap of Basic White for the Flower

BAG INSTRUCTIONS

Stamp the outline of the flower image in Memento Black in on Basic White Scrap paper Stamp the inside of the flower in the coordinating In Color.
Stamp the words on the lower right corner of the bag in Versamark ink and heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
Using the Stampin‘ Cut & Emboss Machine cut the following:
- The flower image
- Largest scallop die from In Color Card Stock
- 2nd Largest from Basic White
Assemble with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wrap coordinating In Color ribbon around the tag. Then attach to the bag.
