Last week I was blessed to be able to attend Stampin Up’s annual Leadership event that took place in Houston, TX. What an amazing time. It was so amazing to have Shelli Gardner (CEO and Co-Founder) with us after her horrible accident last year. She received a standing ovation!

That kicked the event off with a bang. Right off, they played a highlights video and interview from my trip to the Home Office in Riverton, UT in November when I hit the Million Dollar sales (See below). My Mom had gone with me on the trip, and neither of us had seen the video, it was very emotional and we were both bawling. Then Shelli called me up on stage, OMG! I was so unprepared for that, here I am crying, and I had brought an outfit thinking they would do this later in the event (not the first day) I was wearing jeans and everything.

That night was the annual Stampin Up Manager’s Reception at the Houston Aquarium! It was one of the best ever! We pet and fed stingrays, ate lots, and rode rides. My shoe fell off on the ride that shoots you up in the sky, then drops you (dang it!). There some amazing fish tanks there, and this one particular Goliath Grouper fish and I were taking a selfie when we were “photobombed” by a tank diver…intentionally!! Funniest picture EVER! The best part was the tank diver giving me the Robert Dinero “I’m watching you” fingers to the eyes sign from the tank after hahaha.

The best part of the trip was spending time with my Stamp It group of friends. We are spread all over the country, and talk on Facebook daily, but stampin events are often the only time we get to see each other and hang out. We had so much fun! Another highlight was having dinner with Shelli & Sterling, Rich Jutkins, Chad Richards, Pam Morgan, Dave Baugh and my mom. My mom and Shelli split a meal, they are BFFs now, in fact I’m pretty sure Shelli adopted my mom and is now my big sister hahaha. Good times!

So excited this HUGE basket of goodies has arrived at my house (in 2 huge boxes) and I can’t wait to open it all. – Stampin Up gave me the entire Occasions catalog for achieving a Million Dollars in sales…WOWOWOW!! Of course I had bought a bunch of things from that catalog because it is AWESOME and I didn’t know, so now I have duplicates…what to do, what to do…I think I am going to spread the love and give a lot of these duplicate goodies away to my Demonstrator Group as incentives (stay tuned for more gang)!!
