Can you say WOW! So amazing, and yet so simple to do. Today's video offers some tips and tricks to masking this beautiful butterfly which include creating a "re-usable" mask. This single layer, "no-snail" card goes down as one of my favorites, thanks to the gorgeous "faux layer"!
Here are some Valentine's card ideas from the new Take it to Heart Stamp Set (125520 wood, 125522 clear mount) offered in the Occasions Mini catalog. These were hanging on a "clothes line" display at Stampin' Up!'s Leadership event, that's why they all have clothes pins on them (they weren't part of the design lol).
Congratulations to Doralyn Andrews who won my latest Facebook give-away, The Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set!
Next drawing is for 2 stamp sets (2 chances to win): Tagtastic & Array of Sunshine Hostess Stamp Sets

The Stampin' Up! Leadership event in San Antonio, Texas last week was the bomb!!! We had sooo much fun. Along with great friends (old and new), great food, a fun area along with Riverwalk...I got to cheer for my downline Dawn Gutro, who walked across stage for her promotion. I presented at the Share Fair (will be sharing this with my group tomorrow night for those who didn't make the trip), and got to ride a Harley Davidson on stage...seriously?!?! How cool is that?!?!? Thanks to SU IT Director, Chad Richards for sharing his love of motorcycles.

This card uses the SAB exclusive Outlined Occasions stamp set (#126014 wood, 126016 clear mount), along with some SAB exclusive designer fabric called Flirtatious #127711. The crown is from Artistic Etchings (118517 wood, 120573 clear mount), and the gold embossed background is from the Elementary Elegance Stamp set (125120 wood, 125122 clear mount).

This one is from an SAB exclusive stamp set called Fresh Vintage (#125115 wood, #125117 clear mount), which coordinates with the Postage Stamp Punch. The card also uses SAB Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper #126154.
This card was designed by Dawn Gutro.
The innovative, thin, wafer-life design of these dies lets you see where you're placing the design before you cut! Layer dies inside each other to cut frames for stamp images.
Cut single hearts or labels for accetns or layering. Framelits Dies look very different from other dies in the Stampin' Up! product line, but the opportunities are endless when you use them in your craft projects.
This is a really pretty card for an engagement. Featuring the Love & Laughter stamp set (#125475 wood, #125477 clear mount) in the 2012 Stampin’ Up! Occasions mini catalog. Using the stampin' write markers to accent the "she said Yes!" on the image of the dress.
I'm leaving, on a jet plane! As this blog post makes it's way to you, I'm on my way to San Antonio, Tx for Stampin' Up!'s annual Leadership event! I have many great ideas coming all week for you while I'm gone.
You can follow my Live Leadership postings on my Facebook Page.
Today's 2 Occasions mini cards are from theTake it to Heart Stamp Set (#125520 wood, #125522 clear mount). This set was made to coordinate with the new Hearts Framelit Die collection#125599.
I really like the Apothecary Art stamp set(#125525 wood, #125527 clear mount), and especially that it is designed to fit in the new Labels Collection Framelits # 125598 for the Big Shot. The background designer paper strip is from Well Worn #122359.
This was color with the Stampin' Write markers. The background texture is from the Polka Dots impressions folder.
One of the benefits of using Sizzlit dies is the delicate and intricate designs they cut. Now, with Stampin' Up!'s Paper Doily die #125592 you have the opportunity to create those beautiful detailed designs in a size that hasn't been an option before. Create an intricate doily design from single layers of Designer Series Paper or card stock using this newly-sized larger Sizzlits die. Makes a delicate background on a card or a focal point on a frame. Doily image is approximately 4-1/4" diameter.
Here is a quick video from Stampin' Up! demonstrating how to use the new sizzlit die.
This week I'm heading off to San Antonio, Texas to attend Stampin' Up!'s Annual Leadership event. I'm very excited!! While there, I was invited to an Advisory Board Alumni lunch. This gorgeous hand-stamped invitation arrived in the mail for the event.
The Elements of Style stamp set was embossed in gold, then they used the new Label Framelits in the Occasions mini catalog to cut out the shape....so pretty!
I listed the main products used on the card below, click on them for more information.
Cherry Scented?!! Seriously?!?! Shut the front door!!! True story, today's card and video is an "Occasions mini Explosion" showing as many of Stampin' Up!'s new toys from the Occasions mini catalog as I could possibly fit in one fabulously scented card. From Cherry scented emboss powder, to Adorning Accents Edgelits and Impressions folders and Doily die. For your entertainment, the video is complete with a funny story about just how good the cherry scent is, and my silly beagle...say no more...watch the video lol.
The Tea Shoppe stamp set makes it a great Valentine's Day card, or switch out the "Teeny Tiny...everything" stamp set words for a different occasion.
Do you love using paper rosettes in your craft projects? Are you even frustrated with how long it takes to cut, score and fold the rosette properly? Try Stampin' Up!'s Designer Rosette die#125594 and make rosettes for your next project in a flash. Let this die and your Big shot do the cutting for you and scoring for you. This die features 2 designer edges for different rosette styles and this quick video from Stampin' Up shows how to make different sizes.
Another beautiful card from the 2012 Stampin’ Up! Occasions mini catalog, this card uses the Take it to Heart Stamp set. It also uses the brand new Framelits dies Labels & Hearts collection to make a gorgeous window on the front of the card. The window frames the image.
Today's post is a "video re-run" from 2 years ago! I came across this beauty the other day and I thought it would be a great project to re-visit. It demonstrates how to use the Heart Sweet Treat cups, and is a really fun Valentine. Some of the original products (and designer paper) have changed since I originally aired this in January 2010, I've included the changes and substitutions below in my supply list.
Today's video is from my stamp club archives, I came across it the other day and fell in love with the card all over again. I "dusted off" the video and am re-broadcasting it publicly on YouTube for the very first time. Techniques include water coloring with Stampin' Up Aqua Painters, and using the Stampin' Write Markers in the Color Spritzer tool for the "splatter" effect. It would make a beautiful Valentine's Day card, and it's versatile enough to use for just about any occasion.
