Carryover Products from Holiday Mini

caryy-over-products-available-stampin-up Can you believe it? The 2011 Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog, and all of the products in it will "almost" all be gone next week! Tuesday, January 3 is the absolute last day to order these products. As announced this week, the extremely popular Stocking Builder Punch #124095 will not be carried over into the new catalog in June and will no longer be available after Tuesday (or before if supplies run out). Stampin Up doesn't usually tell us ahead of time what products will be carried over, however, they do have a list of Mini catalog products (below) that will still be available for purchase after the mini expires. These products are available for purchase in my online store simply by typing the item # into the search box.

My Digital Studio Photo Calendar – Part 4

calendar-2012-10-ocotoberOctober marks the 4th and final quarter of my 2012 My Digital Studio software (MDS) photo calendar pages. Visit Part 1 of this series for the main MDS stamp sets and elements I used throughout the calendar. The calendar is 8-1/2″x11 landscape layout. October is a pic of my sister and I with my mom, taken in Florida. November uses images from the World Tour Stamp Brush set #119103. December is my favorite, I love this picture of the boys snorkeling. I took it from underneath them, then used teh MDS software to make the photo sepia. The star images are from the July Forth Stamp Brush Set #121072.

My Digital Studio Photo Calendar – Part 3

calendar-2012-07-july July marks the “3rd Quarter” of my 2012 My Digital Studio software (MDS) photo calendar pages. Visit Part 1 of this series for the main MDS stamp sets and elements I used throughout the calendar. The calendar is 8-1/2″x11 landscape layout. July is dedicated to my oldest son. The "Imagine" came from the Tres Chic Stamp Brush Set #125772. I had some fun using photos as backgrounds with August and July.

My Digital Studio Photo Calendar – Part 2

calendar-2012-04-aprilHere are my "2nd Quarter" 2012 My Digital Studio software (MDS) photo calendar pages. Visit Part 1 of this series for the main MDS stamp sets and elements I used throughout the calendar. The calendar is 8-1/2"x11 landscape layout. This first month, April, is my sister and her wedding in Key West, FL this past summer. For this page I used the Wedding Sweet Stamp Brush Set #121431. For May's page, I let simplicity take over. The photos of the boys snorkeling and playing are the focus of this month's layout. In June, the focus was on my youngest son, I wanted a "boy-ish" feel so I used the Extreme Elements Stamp Brush set #119099 to embellish his page.

My Digital Studio Photo Calendar – Part 1

calendar-2012-01-januaryEvery year for Christmas I create photo calendars for the Grandparents. I was soooo excited when Stampin' Up! came out with the My Digital Studio software (MDS) as the calendar options are far superior in both freedom to create, and in print quality, to services I'd used in the past. MDS has gotten even better from last year with the new updates (be sure to update your MDS software, the updates are free). This year I created an inspirational theme throughout the calendar. I love how them came out. Here are the first 3 months, I'll post the rest this week. I've been hesitant to post these before Christmas because I didn't want anyone getting a "sneak peek" of their gift ahead of time lol. They know they are getting calendars, but the pictures in them are the surprise. So if you see my parents, and Nana ... don't tell them ... and Mom if you're peaking "step away from the blog" at least until Monday lol!!!

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Telescoping Snowman Card

telescoping-snowmanSo unbelievably cool!! Part 1 of my 2 part series on Frosty the snowman is a WOW card, it rolls out into a 3 section snowman! This card is called a telescoping card. Not only is it great for Christmas Holidays, but it can be used for just about any winter theme party, birthday, etc. The idea came from a swap card I received last July from Andrea Shields, it's been killing me to wait this long to share it hehehe!! So many cool ideas, so few days in the week to share them lol. I surprised my stamp club members with it this month, and it was a huge hit!

medallion-ornament-tami-white-groupThe sparkle and shine of this amazing card really grabs your attention! It is such a WOW in person. Watch the video below to see how easy and fun this fabulous Christmas card is, featuring Fine Galaxy glitter...and the best part is you can use all of the colors and it looks fantastic!I am demonstrating in red, and also show the gold and silver. medallion-ornament-tami-white-aThis sample shows the Medallion stamp as a glittery ornament "hanging" on the card, but by simply using a different word verse from the same Delightful Dozen word set, you can transform this into a Valentine's card or more. Watch closely for a quick tip on how to "fix" any boo-boos of missing glitter!

Frostwood Lodge Photo Card

christmas-lodge-stamps-4This is such a fun idea for Christmas photo cards. My friend Georgia came up with this. She used the Scallop Square die for the Big Shot to cut out her picture and layer it on the front of her card. She used the fun Frostwood Lodge designer paper #124002 and Cherry cobbler quilted ribbon #124105 from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
