This is a new set in the 2011-12 Idea Book, and has lots of fun “antique” images like an old typewriter, key and more. Couple it with some antique brads and you have a masterpiece!

Elegant Bouquet Butterflies

I love this gorgeous, card. So striking, yet simple. Just my style! This is part of my series of swap cards. This one uses the Elegant Bouquet impressions folder (115964), Beautiful Butterflies Die (114507) for the big shot, My Friend Stamp Set (122585 wood, 122587 clear mount). Other accessories include the Subtles Patterns Paper Pack (117152), Scallop Trim border punch (118402), Pearl Basics accents (119247) and Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon (122332).

Blossom Umbrella Card

Calling all Blossoms!! Round up the blossom punches and have a little fun. This umbrella card uses the Blossom Petals Builder Punch (121808), Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch (122464), and the Boho Blossoms punch (119858). The cart itself is the Decorative Label punch (120907).

I’m starting a new series of posts containing gorgeous and cool swap cards either myself or a friend received at recent Stampin’ Up events. I love swapping, it’s one of my favorite parts of events, and where most of my inspiration comes from. Today’s cards are from The Open Sea Stamp Set (123030 wood, 123032 clear mount), and the Nautical Expedition Designer Paper (122343) that are in the 2011 Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini catalog.

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Hello Doily Panel Card

This card is absolutely amazing! I received it from the Stampin’ Up! Events team as a “Thank you” for going on the SU Alaska cruise. Seriosuly, they thanked me?!? WOW! I think they must have been confused as I was the one who felt like I should be doing the thanking. Just another awesome perk of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, the trip we are earning free now is to Fiji!!

The card caught everyone’s eye, it’s a real WOW in person. I copied it for my stamp club members last month. Here is a quick video tutorial demonstrating how to create it.
