VIDEO TUTORIAL: On a Pedestal Party Card
December 31, 2010 by
It's party time, with this fun card of presents made with the On A Pedestal Stamp Set (113814). Designed by Kathie Rotti, a very talented demonstrator in my group, this card was one of our stamp club projects this month. New groups of online and hostess clubs start each month, be sure to sign up now so you don't miss out on the fun and free stamps! Stamp club members also get step by step photo and written instructions for each project (including this one). One of our many perks.
This video demonstrates how to use the stamp-a-ma-jig stamp positioner, easy bow tying with no waste and more.

Adding Shimmer and Sparkle to everything!
December 4, 2010 by
My Digital Studio (MDS) software, I had so much fun I ended up creating a bunch of designs and had the hardest time narrowing it down to one (click here to view them >). Of course I could have printed 25 of each but I didn't want anyone to fight over them hehehe. In the end, I chose this one for the winner. I had them professionally printed through the software program, man was this super cool!
To make the card extra special, I added some "shimmer" and "sparkle" by using Stampin' Up Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint #116806 & some rubbing alcohol. I put about 4 or 5 drops of shimmer paint in a spray bottle with approximately 1oz of rubbing alcohol. I cut a peice of card stock the size of the picture on the front, and placed that over the picture before spraying, this way the glittery shimmer was not over the photo. I also sprayed the inside. The photos don't do the end result justice, in person this just made an fantastic card ... completely amazing!
