VIDEO TUTORIAL: A Christmas Cardinal

2009-10-christmas-cardinalWowzers, today’s video tutorial is packed full of fabulous techniques including watercoloring, creating this super cool oval textured background, a shimmery background and this super cute mini flag banner. I apologize for my cold, don’t laugh at my voice too much.

Learn how to create this oval background with a piece of Stampin’ Up Chipboard and the scallop oval die…true story, you’re going to flip when you see it. Use this over and over again on all of the texture plates. Plus a little cheat in creating this shimmery background (which is really hard to see in the video but super cool in person) – shhhh…don’t tell anyone. DOWNLOAD PRINTABLE SUPPLY LIST >

A great tutorial! I love this card- you have lots of techniques here, and it’s beautiful. Not sure why, but the background music made it hard to hear your voice- maybe I didn’t start the tutorial correctly?
Will check out more of your lovely ideas! Thanks for sharing!
