BLOG HOP & VIDEO: Watercolor Wash Sunburst Wow
PROJECT
I wanted to go "outside the traditional box" for my Valentine's Day blog hop project. This awesome Sunburst card is a real "Wow", I have a video below to show you how to make it. The Stampin Up Going Global stamp set is a perfect fit, and it makes a cool masculine card. I have teenage boys, so I like designing cards the are suitable for the "guys". The card design was inspired by Heidi Baks. Her design used the epoxy accent stick ons for the heart. I didn't have these, so I'm going to show you how to make this using Crystal Effects. Part I: My blog hop card is part 1 in a 2 part video series featuring the Watercolor Wash technique. I'll be sharing part 2, another cool Watercolor Wash idea on Wednesday's video.VIDEOS: Watercolor Techniques

VIDEO: Blessed Easter Watercolor Card
Today's video is a gorgeous card my friend Linda Cullen shared at our last demonstrator group meeting. It is so beautiful, and versatile. Designed with Easter in mind, but changed the "Happy Easter" greeting to "Thoughts of You" to show how easy it can become a sympathy card.
The video shows some easy tips on how to use masking to "eliminate" portions of a rubber stamp.
