Rainbow Card Tutorial with All Zipped Up Dies
Hello, crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a super fun and cheerful handmade card that’s sure to brighten anyone’s day! Whether you’re a seasoned stamper or brand new to the world of card making, this is a project you’ll love creating—and it’s easier than it looks.

A Card Full of Color and Joy
This bold, bright design came together with the Stampin’ Up! All Zipped Up Dies and the Greetings for All Ephemera Pack. I had a blast piecing together the colorful strips to form a zig-zag rainbow background. The sentiment “oh, happy day!” just felt like the perfect fit for this happy card.

Each strip of cardstock was die-cut using the zipper edge die from the All Zipped Up set. The jagged edges give it such a cool texture and movement. I then interlocked each piece in rainbow order—which adds that extra wow factor. To frame the background, I used a bold black die-cut frame made with the Botanical Textures Dies, and I just love how it makes the colors pop!

The Colors I Used
I picked a vibrant palette of Stampin’ Up! cardstock colors to make this rainbow truly shine:
- Flirty Flamingo
- Berry Burst
- Pool Party
- Coastal Cabana
- Lemon Lime Twist
- Daffodil Delight
- Pumpkin Pie
- Peach Pie
This combination gives such a fun, retro rainbow vibe—don’t you think?
