JULY 2022 PAPER PUMPKIN ALTERNATES
We’ve collaborated with some friends and starting the APPT – “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop onthe first Friday of each month. I hope this hop leaves you inspired and full of alternate ideas for your July 2022 kit.
I had some layering fun with card #1. I included the Stampin Up Layering Designs Vellum over Distressed Gold for a cool effect. Card #2 works with the die cuts in the kit. Which one is your favorite?
I have instructions for these cards, as well as links to the rest of the blog hop below.

PHOTOS
My first card share for this hop has a lot of pop. Beginning with the ship in the bottle.
I add Vellum Cardstock over the sails of the ship to give them a softer look. I used the piercer from the Take Your Pick tool along the dots of the boat and added Rustic Brads. I think they almost give the look of canons or decor on the ship.
The background of the card also adds to the depth of the card. I created it with the Layering Vellum Designs over the Distressed Gold. In person it’s a very cool effect.
I added a layer from the Layering Diorama Dies for separation between the ship and the background.
This card was mostly created with kit pieces. The base, background layer and die cuts are all kit pieces. They are also available in the kit refill.
The words are heat embossed. And I added Iridescent Rhinestones for a little bling.
Full instructions for both cards are linked above.
