ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY POP UP CARD  – POP UP SERIES

This pop up boat birthday card also has a cool “faux floating” technique for the kayak on the front. I used a window sheet to create this illusion. This card was created with the Stampin’ Up Adventurous Journey Stamp set.

I love the floating kayak effect the raised window sheet creates on the front of this card.

On the inside 3 boats and oars pop up to surprise your loved one. These are colored with the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends markers.

I used the Tasteful Textile embossing folder not realizing it had retired…ooops! This would also look great with the Timeworn Type embossing folder.

I lined up the water rings with the kayak to add even more dimension to the floating kayak.
 
I made the pop up mechanism wider on this card to fit the 3 boats. I attached the oars directly to the card.
