PHOTOS

The Stampin’ Up Pirates & Mermaids is such a fun stamp set. I wish we had something like this when my sons were little, they were all over pirates and I’m always looking for masculine ideas for them. I used the Diorama Dies for the window cut out and layering.

How cute is this guy? I’ve colored him with Stampin’ Blends markers, so the instructions for the colors. I love the look of the Diorama Dies as they reminded me of a treasure map. The bakers twine is from the Playful Pets combo.

The Simply Marbelous Designer Paper made a great background for the mermaid. The card is Coastal Cabana, but the Just Jade & Gold ribbon pairs nicely with it.

The mermaid is colored with Stampin’ Blends markers on Shimmery White card stock to add a little sparkle. But the real show stopper is the Stampin’ Up Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper she is layered on.
